If they took him as QB I'm not even mad, I don't think he was worthy of a scholarship at that position. As an ATH yes, as a QB no.

On second thought, if they're gonna give him "a shot" to play QB and that's what he really wants to do, then go ahead. Miami was straight up with him and let him know that he wasn't going to play QB here.

Just don't be surprised when he gets that Russell Shepard treatment like LSU gave him.
 
This kid really believes they are gonna let him beat out Winston?

That may be part of the Matthew Thomas "staying put deal".
 
I find the timing interesting since Nigel was supposed to announce his destination today.
