coaching matters.Still a young player you don't just give up on a true sophomore with his size and speed combo.
He is an absolute take if he wants to come here imo.
Another year of maturity, and working with someone like Jason Taylor could jump start his career.
I was watching him vs. LSU, and he has some real quickness off the edge at his size.
FYI, that's exactly who I named this account after. Love that movie. Lol
People keep referring to him as a 5*, but he's no longer a 5*. That was a high school score based on hs production, measurables, and potential, future, production. Now there is real tape on him, and you have to see him for who he is. Call him a talented guy who has severely underperformed. The coaches have to quickly get to the root cause. There are enough other talented guys out there who have the character, work ethic, grit, and toughness who will fit into the culture that Mario has been trying to create and may also be better with respect to resource allocation.
Put another way, if you didn't know his name, saw him as Player X, and you reviewed his tape, his measurables, and his productivity in college, he wouldn't carry the same weight right now. It's possible that the coaches may still see him as a take, a kid who wasn't used correctly or had some other variable that can explain his lack of productivity. Like any player, he still has to prove himself, but he's got a longer way to go.
Probably Gerald Willis. Willis came out HS as a talented SDE then grew into a talented 3-tech. Freak athletes that have unreal quickness for their size. Shemar just hasn't put it all together yet. Willis was more off the field issues but didn't realize his potential until his last year as a 5th year senior for us.Who's his UM comp in terms of where he is now in his dev, and his ceiling? Nesta? Taylor?

A lot of yall said the same thing about Jaelan Phillips and you see what happened with him. Sometimes you just gotta let guys developPeople keep referring to him as a 5*, but he's no longer a 5*. Fam, you comparing a guy who missed a lot of time due to injury to a guy who has been playing a lot since he got to A&M but has barely produced? That isn't even in the same ballparkA lot of yall said the same thing about Jaelan Phillips and you see what happened with him. Sometimes you just gotta let guys develop
I dont Know why yall so quick to write Stewart off, seems crazy to me but okayFam, you comparing a guy who missed a lot of time due to injury to a guy who has been playing a lot since he got to A&M but has barely produced? That isn't even in the same ballpark
No we are admitting what he currently is. You are still projecting. Could he turn up next year, absolutely. However, right now, he is who he has shown to be thus far.I dont Know why yall so quick to write Stewart off, seems crazy to me but okay
Love this film.
What could have been with Randy if he didn't go Cukoo for Cocoa Puffs....
He did play the same bat-**** crazy character in pretty much every movie he was in.What could have been with Randy if he didn't go Cukoo for Cocoa Puffs....
There’s another factor. Let’s say Miami did what A&M did with defensive tackles and oversigned wide receivers. Let’s say they had 16 on the roster, with seven five stars. Not everyone will get playing time, and more importantly with so many bodies everyone’s individual development is hampered.People keep referring to him as a 5*, but he's no longer a 5*.
