Season ticket holders

Unlike yourself i don't give a **** what you or anyone else on this board thinks. This board is all about you losers who think you are bigger than the program. All of you spew the same crap everyday and there has not been one change on the staff and the University has showed they don't give one **** about you and will not be bullied by powerless fools. Now that is funny!

If there is any doubt that UM is more obsessed with monitoring CIS than fielding a good football team, see Exhibit 1.

I'm as frustrated as everyone else but do you think they should just stop asking people for money? You do know that the athletic department is part of a not for profit organization that relies at least partly on donations and ticket sales to function right? Should they just stop doing that because some fans on a message board are upset? Again, I'm as mad as everyone else at the current state of the football program but your post is way off base.

Of course they shouldn't stop asking people for money. But there are ways to do things.

Tying "donations" to season ticket holder seat locations, at this point, is a very poorly-thought out strategy. If the on-field performance and everything that comes with it (including Golden's incessant verbal diarrhea) isn't sufficiently nauseating, you're now risking further alienating your few remaining fans by conditioning their seats on how much they donate. Come on, man. Now's not the time for extortion.
