Can't see Scarlett leaving the U high and dry this close to NSD. Hope a lil bit of STA wore off on him.

what if he told the cane coaches his intentions already? It is not unheard of that the coaches worked something out so he doesn't decommit right away and bring a bunch of negativity. Also allow the staff a few days to get a replacement before he does make his intentions known.

I am not saying this is the case, just saying that if he does change his commitment on monday it doesnt necessarily mean he left the staff high and dry

Holland and Jefferson (too slow for DE, too small for DT) are way overrated, Nothing but bringing up a team in the recruiting rankings. Coward when feels like playing is outstanding, needs to always bring it though. Davis, Ivie, and Francois athe 3 out of that group i would want. Whomever out if Miami, UF or FSU get Scralett are getting a great back.

Jefferson has put on major weight since his injury. He has been getting fat and looks pretty much like he will end up at dtackle

kind of agree about cece...recently got a commit from this african kid (zuniga) who has only been playing football for 2 years. His first step is absolutely insane for a DE. I actually think this guys potential is greater than both cece and cowart -- if --- he figures the game out. His athleticism at his size is far superior to both. He also uses his hands very well for a guy that has only played like 24 football games his entire life. Keeps great distance between his body and the OL hands....and again that first step is explosive.

I've been told by a coach that this coming Monday Scarlett will be announcing where he is going. They said it may be in conjunction with something on ESPN that day. But knowing how Scarlett is who knows if he goes through with that while also maintaining that commitment until it's time to sign the LOI.

It's not grade issues at all. He has a great relationship with the WVU rb coach plus their system utilizes a lot of the talents that are needed for a rb at the next level. That was expressed to him by someone from the nfl none other than Alonzo Highsmith.

As far as UF it's a good academic school and close to home. UM reached out to him on Thursday after he made his decision begging for an OV but he said no. If the canes would have kept up contact like they said they were when Hurlie was at his school right after the dead period, he would have given them another strong look.

I'm not saying that CaneDro is correct, because I have no idea what Jordan Scarlett will do on Wednesday or why he went to campus, but maybe he went to UM to break the news to KB like a man instead of a mouse, or perhaps he informed KB of his decision via phone and KB asked him to come to campus so they could talk about it. We'll see what happens. Losing Scarlett would be a huge blow to this class.
