Why would they? They will have a one-two punch of Dalvin Cook and Jacques Patrick next year. If we had gotten Dalvin Cook last year instead of them we would be saying the same thing. Scarlett would have been a luxury, not a need. Hope Scarlett realizes where he is REALLY needed.

No. I think Scarlett is more of a power back of the type that Cook is not. Maybe Cook is more like Lamar Miller. I've seen Scarlett run head on into tacklers, bounce off and run straight into the end zone. I don't know that Cook can do that, he will make you miss or find a lane and run away from you. Scarlett might have some of that, too. He seems to have decent vision and very good speed.

It seems that we're lacking in guys that can do backflips well. Just my guess. Best backflip I remember was Lamar Thomas in the end zone against Temple, maybe 20 years ago.

What's harder, backflips or front flips? I wouldn't know, since I could never do either.

It's already starting. I knew as soon as Frasier de-committed people were going to start acting like Scarlett is the best back in the nation. Frasier is probably the best back in the nation. Frasier had a very good week at Army and was mentioned several times as a top performer. The film doesn't lie.


Don't try to use Army Game performances against Frasier when Scarlett had 3 fumbles on his 3 rushes for -9 yards.

Very untrue. Frasier did not have a good week to be honest in San Antonio. According to the head coach and assistants when it came to every position who started was who had the best week during drills and scrimmages. For RBs it was Cronkrite and then Scarlett and then Frasier. It was stated many times that if you took the south Florida kids off that team there was nothing.

Frasier is a kid that was the biggest and fastest in **** near the entire state on a very low level of competition so when he got around similar talent he wasn't what they wrote about. The writers there focused on kids that could help drive subscriptions the entire week.

I think it's only Walton. Scarlett is very flaky and he changes his mind every other day. The last 2 weeks it's been FSU one day then Miami but the UF coaches feel very confident.

This is actually a good sign for us. When a kid is this torn..they usually go with their gut feeling. (Kinda like DC last year.) In the end, I think he sticks with Miami.
 
Frasier is from rural NC. The talent level where he plays is not very good. Wouldn't be surprised to see him become a bust based upon expectations from his ranking.
 
I've been told by a coach that this coming Monday Scarlett will be announcing where he is going. They said it may be in conjunction with something on ESPN that day. But knowing how Scarlett is who knows if he goes through with that while also maintaining that commitment until it's time to sign the LOI.
 
Can't see Scarlett leaving the U high and dry this close to NSD. Hope a lil bit of STA wore off on him.

If he's making an announcement with ESPN involved, he's gone.

Nobody makes a live announcement to re-affirm their commitment to a school.

They'll get martez ivey, Ryan davis, Chris williamson, keivonnis davis from Miami central who I wish we woulda took, cronk, francois imo, and apparently scarlett. This weekend could get them callaway who supposedly silently committed to WVU and we'll see where Tyree head is i think he sticks

Thanks. I said on here monday that Scarlett was announcing on Feb 2nd, but i was told I was wrong or whatever.

anyhow, how do you think UF looks for cronkrite? I know you arent a gator fan and don't give two ***** about uf but i appreciate anything you can share. Is WVU a real player there or is uf looking good for him?

Also why is it WVU and UF, does he have grade issues?
