You can tell ole Saint Satan was irked in that video because he was tapping his foot in the chair. Man also has an anger issue too.

Wow! Saban is really shook.

Publicly accusing another school of cheating? Actually naming the schools?

He may get some blow back for this.
Gloves should come off, that ********** has had immunity for way too long. I hope players/coaches come out of the woodwork and ruin his bull**** "legacy". Nobody in history has been more detrimental to college football than that piece of ****.

Im sure Someone said it but Saban talking bout Miami, we have another former assistant as our HC. He better not throw no shots cuz im sure Mario seen some things like Jimbo said, ask them who worked for him. Hypocrite

Like me and you always said.

Where are allllll the posters on this board that said Bama was going to run nil, bruce young got a million oh no 1 can compete with them or that.

In literally less than 4 months....the supposed GOAT is crying..scared. I mean the man is crying about an HBCU and throwing in Miami basketball.

Even he knows there is only so much NIL that can be reciprocated where he is in Alabama..and it's not sustainable for his Roster to control the kids that he has because now they will be making more than most. It's why he ran away from the nfl he is a control freak. Big school like bama and hes crying about only getting 25 guys nils...we have walk ons getting a piece.

Jimbo Fisher about to be on hisazz, Deion Sanders definately about to light his ***, I for sure hope Um is all over his *** an gets to Fox sports to air him since ESPN is in his pockets for the most part. History saw a Jayson William's the basketball player light him up though.

Btw i told u man Saban is really mad about this, this is actually bringing competition and parity, not to the extent of 30 teams, but instead of 4 teams with a chance, maybe its 8, 10, or 15. That's why i said, i don't want no rules on the NIL. The portal is a different thing. This is the beginning of the SEC falling off. Them Cities teams coming back.

Yall seen SMU and they destroyed them, Texas always had money, now its legal they big mad.

Oh btw if yall man think Bama wasn't doing the same thing Texas A&M was doing and now they mad so they gonna go ham, give your head a wobble. Bama cannot match Texas A&M and them oil man, and in a few years it will be two of them with the Longhorns. That's why Saban went public. Man talking bout call to arms. BAMA pays the players, they been doing it and they continue to do it. SABAN is a liar. Dolphins fans know. Stone cold liar and narcissist

Nick should have kept his mouth shut.

There's bad blood between him and Jimbo. He can deal with Miami because he respects Mario and knows that Mario won't do anything underhanded to him. The Canes will do everything above board. Ruiz's NIL Operation is completely untouchable.

I suspect that Jimbo's, Kirby's and Bama's are not.

I wrote earlier that Nick isn't stupid. He didn't want the Justice Department snooping around his program. But this is a good way to attract attention from the DOJ if some Texas people get upset with Bama's tactics here.

If Saban had been more statesmanlike in his comments, there wouldn't be an issue. But Jimbo will want revenge. You'll probably hear nothing about this out of Miami because of the great relationship between Cristobal and Saban. Not so much the SEC schools.

There needs to be a Five Families Meeting among the Athletic Directors and the Whale Boosters at the big SEC schools to allow Cooler Heads to prevail before the bad blood among the Head Coaches (and let's not forget Dabo at Clemson, btw) burns everything down. The last thing anyone wants is for Congress to get involved and ***** up a good deal for the players, but that's the way it's headed.

Great point. I’ve always wondered about this code of omertà that the athletes have. Is it loyalty or fear? It must be fear —fear of the IRS, blowback from the fans of the school they attended and generally just not wanting to look bad.
Well, if the player admits he got paid, maybe the IRS comes asking “how much?” Could a player getting enough money that way be party to money laundering?

And if the player lives in the local area, or had family, there might be other problems….

I actually believe Saban when he says they don't pay their players. They don't have to .....ANYMORE. When he first got there, Im 100% sure they were paying kids. But he did how it was supposed to be done, flipped it into national championships to where you don't have to advertise it. The boosters took over after that and he and the staff most likely had more plausible deniability.

Now, do Bama bagmen exsist? Yup. Does coach know it? Maybe, maybe not. Those first 5 years or so is all your really need. Thats why Im all in on Mr. Ruiz going ham up front. Build the foundation and let the coaching staff finish the rest on the field.

Alabama has paid EVERY YEAR. It's just not Nick that does it. Alabama has one of the most sophisticated "plausible denial" systems out there. The boosters handle the dirty work, and Nick stays clean. The Alabama machine has been refined over DECADES.

This has all been pretty much referenced but my belief in that Sabag really effed up last night is based in the national media essentially HAVING to cover it now and finally give oxygen to what we've all known to be true about Baga forever.

Sabag in his petulance made two mistakes. He spoke so harshly that he finally got a fellow SEC coach to blast him back. SEC on SEC violence. The media can't ignore that.

Secondly (and more long term), he's failing to realize the actual impotence of the NCAA. Not only was his cheating immunized by that organization but that organization was also WEAPONIZED to essentially go after schools on behalf of the SEC. So a Miami or a USC and a handful of other schools wouldn't dare start throwing dirt because that'd probably mean you're going to get the spotlight shined on you immediately. And the media was too lazy/manipulated to ever do this work on their own.

Now we can almost all speak freely and fight back and that climate won't necessarily favor SEC schools or Sabag in smaller media markets and non-billionaire boosters.

So love NIL or hate it but it has equaled the destruction of the NCAA's power and that power and cronyism played a YUGE role in creating Sabag and the SEC as it exists today.

Sabag without threat of a retaliation through the NCAA becomes a much softer target. Him immediately drawing fire from fellow SEC coaches makes his intelligence on this front much less intimidating too.

Absolutely. Nick and the Immediate Staff are cleaner than the Twelve Apostles.

The boosters tell no one anything, and Nick and the Coaching Staff ask no questions. That way, when there's a deposition, Saban and his staff can say that they were never told how Tua's Family were set up in style in Tuscaloosa.
