That said, Rumph's title is only Assistant Director of Recruiting because Manny gave him that job after pulling him from an on-field position because of (what looks like) Rumph's failings as a recruiter. At this point, if Rumph is still messing things up in recruiting, it is 100% on Manny. You throw a giraffe into a lake to catch some fish, and you can't be mad when it drowns and catches none.

Alabama doesn't say "we're loaded at" they just keep dumping brinks trucks for elite players & sort it out later. We need to get in that mentality here. You can't be "loaded" enough at any position. Guys grow, change positions, etc. Get the best players on campus. I'm not saying this kid is one of them but that loaded **** triggers me.

We need 1 safety in this class Imo. I don’t think the point is not recruit one. We are probably looking to take 1 and probably have Wilson highest on the board as priority..sooooo

I guess the proof will be in the pudding going forward with Rumph and his recruiting. If recruiting suddenly improves this year or we aren’t dumpster diving in January we’ll know it’s him. I mean that’s if you need a smoking gun with finger prints. We’ll see.

Rumph has a museum curator role rn. Most likely won’t be in direct contact with recruits on a daily. Probably host fams and **** like that. DVD and Trob will be running point
