Rumours about Chip Kelly to UF

Watch this end up being not even remotely close to have happened. Seems like the Gheyturds are already blaming Spurrier for holding it up because they somehow think The Ol' Ball Corch wants Frost. I don't fear Kelly there but I'm still prepared to be underwhelmed by their eventual hire.

Charlie strong, Scott Frost, lane kiffin. Someone with some personality kids can relate to. Chip kelly knows Xs and Os better then Dabo. A head coach is not just an offensive mind they have a lot of other responsibilities. I’ll wait to judge till i see the staff but Chip Kelly alone is a sanction waiting to happen and could be the 10 year blowup of the gators program kinda like when spurrier left. Yea big name but he has a lot of baggage and he has his little bit of success(in a confrence that doesn’t play defense) he has a lot of failure as well too.

I can't imagine that Kelly wants to go to a place where Spurrier and Foley are hanging around the program breathing down a coaches neck.

Same with Frost for that matter.

The day Golden was fired, if you had said Richt or Kelly, the majority would have said Kelly.

I'm happy with who we've got. I think it was obviously the best hire we could've made. The best part is the staff he has assembled. In hindsight, I didn't consider that and some were mightily questioned until recently.

My big thing with Richt was would we get Georgia Richt or one that was refocused and energized about working at his alma mater. We have our answer and I couldn't be happier for him and us.

I would have said neither, honestly. Not because I don't think they're good coaches--well I think Kelly runs a gimmick scheme that will always lose to an elite defense--, but because I never thought Miami would pony up the dough for a big name. I was a Butch Davis guy because I felt like he was the best we could or would try to afford. Butch would have **** near taken this job for free. That's why I thought he was the best option. I am happy to have been wrong about that.

Not gonna lie, I wanted Kelly more than Richt or any other coach available at the time. However, Kelly was still employed as the head coach of the 49ers so he wasn't an option for us. I think he would be an excellent hire for UF so I'm hoping they completely bungle this and miss on him, Frost (who I think will go to Nebraska), and any other competent coach.

Says the resident self hating cane fan. Youve been on here week after week criticizing this team and staff. But then you have no problems sucking off other coaches of other teams. Sure would have been nice for you to be as ecstatic about MIAMI as you are about potential coaches of other teams. Smdh
