Yes he did get the bang for his buck this year. Nigel Pack and LifeWallet were on espn every 30 mins for nearly a week. Same with every other sports channel or show. Life wallet has already had a 10 min E60 spot about it as well as Josh Pate and Colin Cowerherd segments out it. He definitely got his moneys worth for his new company. Obviously that return goes down as its no longer a splash story next year. But you all are wrong if you think Miami doesnt have a very diverse and large NIL environment. Kamuri Rogers had 16 deals in less than 3 months on campus and 3-4 were national brands. Are they huge? No probably not as a freshman with no PT at the time of signing, but our athletes are doing well with NIL outside of Ruiz.
Why is that “the issue”? Do you know the details of any athlete anywhere else? You and I don’t need to know the deals, only the agents of the athletes do.Examples of the deals?
That's the issue imo, no one knows the deals
he was just on an interview or something so he just restated it. it makes sense though from a cost benefit analysis. he loves UM but he needs to see a return in his marketing budgetHe said that already.
Dan Lambert said the same thing last year. Ruiz isnt Santa lol. hes a businessman that is going to put business firstIt’s common sense really
These discussions are actually painful to read
as much as people hate the collectives, this is the way to go.i said this from Day 1, we need to diversity the NIL commitment so we are not dependent on Ruiz (or anyone else).

Ruiz tweeting out a few fewer times a year is not going to cause problems.
Well, he is (to a degree). Given what he's invested, he couldn't have reasonably expected to get a return.Dan Lambert said the same thing last year. Ruiz isnt Santa lol. hes a businessman that is going to put business first
