Rosier gets pulled during a close game or after a loss...

You have an unhealthy fascination with proctology. Granted, that's an area you regularly talk out of, but all the same it would be greatly appreciated if in the future you kept your fantasies to yourself.

After calling Rosier everything but a "proctologist", you now laughingly claim... "I don't dislike Rosier". Partner, if you don't dislike Rosier I don't want to know how you describe someone you really don't like.

Here's a free tip...if you want to slather hate on something (which I don't recommend) you might take a peek at the offensive line, because if they don't improve dramatically over last year whomever you believe should be quarterbacking the Canes will soon be receiving your hate as he is going to be a spectacular failure.

Is this your best? Your best attempt to turn this thing? That's embarrassing.

I DON'T dislike Rosier - and there are folks I dislike - and haven't even gotten around to you - so there's that.

I'm not saying I don't like you - but if you were on fire, and I had a mug of water - I'd drink it!

Not one time did I suggest anything positive or negative about the OLine - like you are doing - I only suggested a couple negative things about the QB.

Now that you've done the same thing about the OLine - does this automatically - by your own criteria - mean you're on a team hate state of mind - that you will be hating on all the players - and hating on all the coaches?

Here's a free tip for you: If you elect to STFU - no one will know how stupid you appear to be.

LSU just got a good QB grad transfer. I’d like to beat LSU. FSU is going to be a tough game AGAIN. Questions like this are all crystal ball. I still haven’t found one that works. I’ll let the season under our center play itself out. We have a good head coach that knows what he needs at that position to win. He will start who he thinks is most capable. I’m sure, like all of us in our businesses, he’ll have a plan B and C. Hopefully we win them all.
I have zero worries about LSU's QB transfer. How many grad transfer QB's actually work out? This guy has talent, but zero experience. He has to learn their playbook and then try to jell with his receivers all the while splitting reps with 2 other QBs that did not separate themselves during Spring practice. If we were playing them further down the schedule, I'd be a little worried. Best case is LSU will play 3 QB's against us trying to figure out whose going to be the guy. I could care less about their "new" offense. I don't expect them to light the world on fire in game 1 of a new offense and new QB.

@UMFarArcher quite literally wrote the book on military leadership in combat.

So any questions about leadership qualities I'd defer to him.

He does still owe me a signed copy however and I'm never gonna let him forget it.

EVER!
We’re not in a military combat, and his pathetic attempts to try to apply the only thing he knows anything about to everything he doesn’t understand is a textbook example of Maslow’s Law of the Instrument.

“I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail.” - Abraham H. Maslow (1962), Toward a Psychology of Being

It would seem that someone else has already quite literally written the book on Mr. Archer.

Two somebodies, actually.

“I call it the law of the instrument, and it may be formulated as follows: Give a small boy a hammer, and he will find that everything he encounters needs pounding." Abraham Kaplan, 1964.

Now you're grasping - and it's ridiculous.

Football - soccer, basketball - baseball not so much - chess, checkers - they all utilize the very same, basic principles of strategy (approach to the battlefield) and tactics (movements ON the battlefield.)

And all those tactics used in games were determined on fields of actual battle by militaries millennia ago. All plays in football for example are to set up superior numbers at the point of attack, misdirection, flanking, using mass along the line for breakthroughs, or the passing game for the purpose of breakouts.

Nothing new under the sun. Schitt is old as dirt - football just uses different terms, and unlike battle, football is easier and more simple. In football, you get do-overs, you get penalties for getting rough, you get time-outs. You get substitutions. You get a break at halftime in a timed event. A clock largely determines the winner.

Your Maslow/Kaplan analogy is about as ****-poor as any I've ever seen written. It fits nothing here. Whether warfare or football - it's all the same stuff - a basic strategy, and use of simple tactics.

If your mistaken "hammer" analogy was directed at me - the groups I was part of specialized in unconventional warfare - as we didn't have many rules. So I never, nor did our elite teams ever see every problem from a hammer standpoint - we'd get surgical when the tactical situation required, we'd snatch prisoners with stealth, or we'd use other remote assets to conceal our location while raining down **** on earth.

You suffer from tunnel vision, your situational awareness is very limited - and I don't expect that to improve any time within your lifetime. We were elite - and very few - and our ability to analyze situations quickly and accurately were a matter of living or dying.

You ain't got that.

You are a sad little man clinging desperately to past glory, but I'll get to your emotional deficiencies momentarily.

First, I am going to deal with YOUR original deflection. Like Custer and his 200 obedient sheep staring down 3,000 Sioux and Cheyenne Indians, you fatally refuse to recognize when you have been defeated. You falsely tried to imply that YOU know that Rosier isn't a leader because he tends to hang his head and pout on the bench in solitude after a bad play. I can show you every quarterback in the NFL and every starting pitcher in the MLB doing the exact same thing.

That means you're either (a. wrong entirely about what constitutes a leader, or (b. trying to apply a standard of leadership that doesn't fit the situation at hand. I actually believe that you know a thing or two about battle, leadership, and courage under fire.

Now...take that ****, all your military service, and everything else you think you know--put it in a box and drop that **** off into the ocean approximately where OBL is buried at sea. It means ****all. Thank you, but go fvck yourself. Your military experience is irrelevant on a football field. If it meant anything at all, if what you consider to be the defining characteristic of a leader mattered one ******* iota, Army, Navy, Air Force, and The Citadel would be in the CFP every year. However, the service branches have consistently been a ******* joke on the gridiron.

So put your little ***goty theory of leadership to the test. I bet you $1,000 that all the "leaders" currently playing D1 football for one of the service branches never--EVER--wins a D1 National Championship. What say you? They've probably all even had to read your book. Put your money where your mouth is. $1,000 says Army, Navy, nor Air Force reach the CFP in the next decade. Fvck it. I'm feeling generous. You can even send them a copy of your book if they haven't read it. Trust me. Nobody will accuse them of cheating because of it.

Reread my comment(s) concerning the offensive line and point out where I personally attacked a kid or demanded that he be benched as you have repeatedly done concerning Malik Rosier. Your Rosier tirades are despicable and hate filled. I have continuously said that whomever starts at QB next year will be best left with Mark Richt versus some message board yahoo(s) with an agenda.

I have read countless posts about Malik and have yet to read one that doesn't point out that he will need to improve over last year's performances, which I wholeheartedly agree with. There are people, such as yourself, that despise the kid and make comments that are absurd. These are the same people, such as yourself, who are like broken records and repeat the same attacks over and over and over again. Like you they are heavily invested in Malik failing and have gone from pointing out weaknesses to desperately hoping he will spectacularly fail, thus proving them right. While I have suggested he must improve I believe there's a foundation in which he can improve to a championship level. I don't know if he will make that leap, but I do know that as of today Mark Richt has named him as the starter.

But, here's the thing, Malik is low hanging fruit so attacking him is a natural for the herd mentality. Yet, if your worst nightmare comes true and he succeeds then you and others will simply redirect their hate at other kids and/or coaches, because the great pleasure your type derives from UM football is to point out the weaknesses of others making you feel better about your pedestrian life.

What an uninformed - dumbass.

The military schools - I'm sorry to tell you this - they're just college students - and most have gotten their appointments through our legislative branch of service - as there are a fairly significant competition to get those assignments.

Second, to my knowledge - they have yet to engage in combat - so that element of proven leadership has not yet been determined.

I get it - you're lacking in accomplishments - and it probably irritates you to have that pointed out.

Your analogy about being outnumbered? Schitt. We were always outnumbered. When you're five or six - or even up to twelve - being outnumbered was our full compliment. We still won. Your "outnumbered" point is . . . pure schitt. ****, man - our documented kill ratio was 150:1. It was then, it is still is now.

You like a season 12-1 or 13-1? You win that many, and lose few? Our team's record was 150:1. And you think I don't have a clue as to what leadership is when I see it?

Outnumbered? I'm kinda laughing right now - find another point - if you have one.

Yes, sitting and pouting is not exactly a characteristic of leadership - and I don't care how you want to shake it, or how many others have demonstrated the same characteristic.

It's not a misidentification if I say that monkee is picking at his ***. You may offer a hundred other photographs to indicate such is normal behavior - but my statement does not change - the monkee is still picking at his ***.

I never said "bench" Rosier. I did say he was inconsistent and that his accuracy is intermittent. As badly as you want - that's not despicable nor hate filled. Just fact. I further stated I don't see any leadership as manifested in sitting alone on a bench, pouting. I just don't see that as a leadership quality - in any book, pamphlet, photograph, CD, book of philosophy, or cartoon.

I've said so before - but you're so **** bent on putting words in my mouth - and make schitt up to make me sound worse - I do not despise Rosier. I've never despised any UM player.

I'm not invested in Rosier failing - I hope he gets his start at LSU - and all season long - rocks out.

And dear God, I often wish for a pedestrian life. I can't count the number of times I've wished for a pedestrian life. So, don't you concern yourself about my life.

In fact, you'll be very pleased that I won't be anywhere near a computer, internet, or even any structure for a few weeks - starting Sunday night - it's all yours, hoss.

But quit making up things and attributing them to me - like a ****y 13-year old girl.

The further you drift towards military, the further you drift away from football. Here you are, now, arguing that no CFB player, not even the ones in the service academies, are real leaders.

Well so what. What the fvck is your point again, you miserable cvnt. Did you even have a point? Of course not. I demolished your original point--that Miami won 10 games in 2017 "in spite of" a QB who set the TD and yardage records--3 ******* pages ago.

And you think you got the sack to call me a ******* REMF. You sound like a man who tasted battle and decided that writing books was a safer occupation. What exactly is your ******* point, cvnt? Malik Rosier can't lead us to victory in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir? Agreed. Now so ******* what? Talk football or shut your ******* hole.

Must be a SEAL or a pilot. They cannot stop talking about being a SEAL/pilot if their lives depended on it.

I don't know if I'd attribute his actions on the bench on a tough day to lack of leadership. There are better arguments for that, such as his admission of going through the motions both when he backed up Kayya & leading up to the Pitt game - where we were #2 & deep in the playoff hunt in the last game of the season. Good luck convincing anybody of how great a leader he is :noidea:

I don't know if he's a "great" leader but he's a better leader than Kaaya was. He's a better leader at QB then we've had since Berlin. That's not saying a lot because we went through a slew of terrible QB's who choked with the game on the line, but it was a change that we should appreciate. After finally beating FSU, and beating them the way we did on the road after giving up a late TD, I never in my life thought we'd be trashing Rosier the way most on here have.

The military academies don't rely on scholarship football players like the big boys do. They don't get the top recruits - because the top recruits probably couldn't get into the military academies. So there's that.

I'm sorry, you retarded ****bucket - you didn't demolish anything - yes, Rosier was QB when UM won ten games - and my argument was that a number of those games was won in spite of Rosier. Two for sure - were extraordinary catches - which we should have never gotten to due to ****-poor play - and those games could just as easily made our record eight wins.

Again, you go back to stats - and stats don't actually reflect how damned inconsistent we were. Take your stats, and shove - no - cram the stats up your fat ***.

So.

You were a REMF.

I never said "bench" Rosier. I did say he was inconsistent and that his accuracy is intermittent. As badly as you want - that's not despicable nor hate filled. Just fact.

But quit making up things and attributing them to me - like a ****y 13-year old girl.

If you are going to be away from a computer for several weeks it can mean only one thing…your mommy and daddy are fumigating the basement.

After you suggested rotating quarterbacks I pointed out the old Axiom "If you have a two quarterback system, you have no quarterbacks!", your sage response was to tell me that Bobby Bowden successfully used a rotating quarterback system…in 1977!!! So, in this instance you only had to go back 41 years to try and substantiate one of your countless asinine observations. And by the way…Bowden scrapped the system knowing he would never win a championship while using rotating QB’s.

You claimed that I was Rosier, because I wouldn’t join in on your hate fest aimed at the kid.

You said: “Our receiver corps last year made Rosier's stats - it sure as **** wasn't due to Rosier.” I am left to assume that the game where Richards dropped 5 or 6 passes that hit him squarely in the hands was his way of pumping up Rosier stats. And you also pointed out the fact Berrios graduated, which in-turn means that there is no one left to catch his “****-poor” passes. Now, many on this message board howl at Rosier’s passing percentage so they may be surprised to learn from you that…how did you put it…oh yeah… “Our receiver corps last year made Rosier's stats.”

You disgustedly pointed out that Rosier is not a leader and cited that he sat alone on the bench as your proof. Never mind that another poster showed photo’s of Tom Brady and many other highly respected QB’s doing the very same thing. Yet, in your demented world Rosier is not a leader. We can only hope the next UM quarterback has the offense sit on the sidelines and hold hands, while chanting… “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, so let's make the most of this beautiful day, since we're together, we might as well say, would you be mine, could you be mine?”

Once again, you are a “****-poor” critic, not a fan of UM football.

Yep - I said our receivers made Rosier's stats - and if you'd seen any of the games - you'd also have seen a lot of really tight games - and the ball was practically uncatchable - but they'd stretch out beyond belief, and reel it in.

Yes, I don't think he's much of a leader. Both by his own words - and his sideline activities - or rather, lack thereof.

Got an idea - you can add to Wiki - so under the term "Leadership," post a photo of Rosier pouting on the bench -

Let's see how long that lasts.

I've got a better idea...

I'm going to post the name UMFarArcher on WIKI under the headings 'Gator' and 'Seminole' knowing your kind will celebrate your tired act.

Here's what I know to be true, if a group of men going into a football game or an armed conflict were given the choice to follow you or Rosier, not even one of them would hesitate as they lined up behind Malik.

You're a poser...Malik's a grown man!

Of your threat to post falsehoods, I'd expect nothing less. You're not analytical, you're dishonest, so that reaction is to be expected.

Per your scenario, it wouldn't bother me at all if everyone followed Rosier. Fewer for me to concern myself with, less to slow me down, and I can move faster and easily traverse much longer distances.. You really are - tactically stupid. Ever wonder why Special Ops personnel are organized into very small teams? Of course you didn't.

A poser? For saying Rosier didn't put in the effort his first two years - when he said it? For saying he was showing a lack of leadership when getting behind - and pouting on the bench?

Do you recall - Richt had a few choices - and had even told Rosier that he'd determined that Roseir would NEVER play QB for him? Remember that? It appears that Rosier was the - not first choice - least ****poor choice. Last season.

Malik - he's certainly a good guy - but he needs to tighten up on his leadership skills. And accuracy. And pocket presence - or what we'd call 'situational intuition.'

Have at it. And in the interim, you can pucker up and french kiss my ***.

There you have it...Rosier would protect his men, whereas you would slither away only concerned about protecting yourself. I don't call that being tactically sound, but an act of cowardice.

Mark Richt did in fact say that if Malik did not change his approach to the game he would never play quarterback for him. So Einstein, is that minuscule brain of yours beginning to slowly engage and tell you that Rosier started every game of last season for Mark Richt, thus...c'mon, you can do it...that means that Rosier did the things Richt asked him to do.

I've reached a point where I do feel sorry for you as it is clear the only way you feel good about yourself is when you tear others down.

The military academies don't rely on scholarship football players like the big boys do. They don't get the top recruits - because the top recruits probably couldn't get into the military academies. So there's that.

The average student at Miami had a high school GPA of 4.2. At West Point, that average is 3.74.

There go those pesky stats again. Also, Dee Delaney says, “Hi.”

What is this, now? The 5th time you’ve tried to change the argument? After a failed attempt to pigeonhole the debate into your “leadership” wheelhouse, we’ve now shifted to consistency. And, of course you’d pick a metric that is entirely subjective. The only way to objectively measure consistency is to realize that no team scores a TD on every possession, every team punts, every team has turnovers, and therefore no team is truly consistent.

You know? Bull****. Especially considering that nobody here ever tried to argue that Rosier was a solid rock of consistency. So fvck you and your cvnt straw man.

No, you third-grade reading level dumbass -****, you're dumb.

You said others would ELECT to follow Rosier rather than me.

I just said I was fine with that. Really. Just fine.

Yes, Rosier did start every game - after a competition that lasted almost to kickoff.

That tells me just how unprepared the others were. Not how well Rosier was playing - see the difference?

Look, this was fun, but I'm busy packing - I got other schitt to do besides make you look like an ***.
