Rooting for the opponent

You won't have to change who your root for to get Golden fired. He is going to be able to do that all by himself.

I bleed Orange and Green. I want the very best for this program. I'm the most passionate Canes fan I know. That being said....

This coaching staff puts the team in a position to lose by design.

And the administration supports it. So what's the point? You can't overcome leadership that's trying to tank the program.

I know I know, Hoping pyrite can be a good or even average coach for one year in his life is like hoping America will be smart enough to not vote for Hillary clinton next year. Just miss my **** team haha. This will actually be the first year that I won't watch a single game other than looking online at the end of the weekend for scores..sad **** this has turned into
 
Question - Do you think by rooting for the other team that increases their chances of beating Miami ?
- I want Al gone as well but if you think cheering for Miami or the other team has ANY impact on the result of the game - you have a very high opinion of yourself

Yes - home field matters but teams do win on the road where most of the stadium is cheering against them

I will never... ever... root for the other team - throw things at the TV and Al, yes but you must cheer for the Canes
- It is a Canes thing and you woulnd't understand

Exactly how I feel, plus golden well run himself out of town. Everything will work itself out

It's not in my DNA to root against the Canes.
That being said, i dont think it's a specific number of wins.
Golden saves his job if:
1) We get to the ACC championship game
2) We are competitive in the ACC championship game, and
3) We win a bowl game.
 
#1 Probably will not happen because we're in a 2 game hole vs Duke and VT given their Atlantic Division opponents this year.
 
It's no different that any other season the past 10 years. I root for the Canes and the results of stubborn, incompetent, coaching that is and has been utter stupidity rips my heart out. At some point....

Won't have to root against them. They suck, the staff sucks. It'll happen either way.

I just won't be actively cheering them on.

This. It's clearly the only way this admin may make a change. If you love the program then you will know losing as many games as possible is what's best for this program. You don't have to root for losses per se, but just recognize that every loss this season is what is best for the future of this program. It's unfortunate for the players but we gotta deal with the reality of the situation.

Can't, and will never root against my team. I'm with ncn, I'll be ****ed off throwing **** and cursing, but I can't root for my team to lose. If Golden ***** this year up, things will take care of themselves. No need to be an extra douche and prove Americas view of Canes fans correct.
