Rewatched the game.

Gotta remember the offense is probably going to be very vanilla until we play Nebraska and 2 of our top receivers went down in the 1st qtr.

Exactly.

Only weak minded coaches do this. Winners go out and play their game and don't worry about hiding their schemes.

Idiots have been pounding that vanilla **** the past 12 years every time we look like **** against a bad team. Then, we look the same when we play a better team.

Miami is looking to unleash their full game plan and schemes during the national championship game they aren't playing in.

I've watched it four times so far, and it gets better every time I watch it. I might be alone on this, but I think we have a real shot at going undefeated. TCU won 4 games in 2013 and then was within an eyelash of going to the playoff in 2014.

***** wrong with you, Fool?

Let me inform you. TCU had a down year prior to 2014. But peep this: It wasn't because of incompetent coaching. In fact, Gary Patterson is respected as a Quality coach. Folden is known as mediocre coach. Therein lies the difference......

When a head coach loses 7 games with the amount of NFL talent we had on the 2014 roster, that head coach is known as mediocre and incompetent.

Sonny, I know you're spittin' mad all the time about this progrum, but I gotta fill you in here: Franchise is being sarcastic. Sorry to spoil the joke.
**** it DCF. Chise was doin good work in this thread

some of you need to get your eyes tested, are on the koolaid really early, and need to take your glasses off. Giving too much credit to a ****ty coaching staff for beating a team that some SFla HS powers could beat.

Lets talk in November and see f the" defense looks good" or the "we are more aggressive", or the "we back" claims are justified.

Not taking nothing away from the game other than we beat an inferior opponent....like we should have.

We play well= you can't learn anything
We play horrible = this team is horrible fire golden

Wait a minute, Ya *****! When did we play well? Needing a 1 hour + rain delay to regroup in order to pull away from an inferior talented FCS school is not playing well.

Maybe FSU or Clemson will agree to a delay after putting a foot in our ***.

I remember people posting the exact same nonsense to defend Coley and Golden after the 2013 FAU game. Two full seasons later and we are still seeing the same playbook from Coley:

1) Stretch run to short side of field
2) WR screen. No gain.
3) Deep ball into double coverage

I hate this offense

Golden should have dump Coley and rehire Fisch. He knows what the word scheme means. We have been horrible on 3rd down since he showed up with those stupid *** routes that run into each other. I think he got the wrong meaning from flood concepts. Simply pathetic. BTW the guy that said we have no game breaker at RB.....Walton will be. I strongly believe that

I agree but Bethune would beat half the opponents that played the top 25 picked for an *** kicking...just saying they are a good football team most years, this year their coaching looks a mess or he was just nervous with Big AL across from him... ( haaaaaa)

One thing I'd like to hear explained is that much of the passing game mentality seems to be to safely get the ball in the hands of your "playmakers" with a lot of horizontal stuff, but in recruiting we seem to be consumed with getting 6'1"+ 200+ type guys rather than guys who make plays in space. Berrios is really the only guy who has the "get him the ball and watch" skillset and I think he'll do well there eventually but we really need more quick, shake-you-in-a-phone-booth types on the roster... you know, the type of player that the area produces in spades.

simple answer: our team is run by a bunch of idiots

in the last 6-8 years we've struggled with cupcakes and our first team has had to play almost until the end.

this game was different and i hope it is a sign of some improvement.

I doubt BCU would beat many of any of the top 25. think of it like this..BCU was a ****ty coached 3A JV team. Miami is a ****ty coached 6A varsity squad loaded with D1 talent. Our talent won out big. When factors such as talent are equal, our coaches will get out coached 90% of the time

I think Waltons feet are bigger than Dukes. That is what you were talking about, right?
