Pete, I think u missed my question, but anything on any 2015 recruits commiting soon?? And who are the recruits that are most NEEDED(can't miss on) for next year

I know youve always been higher on cook, like me, but do you believe yearby can be a star at miami if say we strike out on cook or Sony....why or why not

It's not the I'm not a fan of Yearby. I love what he could bring here, but I just feel like posters have overestimated the type of player he is. He will be able to pick up chunks of yards at a time in college and be very productive, but he's not the game-breaker that some have made him out to be. I expect him to have a very good career here, it just remains to be seen how he will handle the bigger, faster defenders at the next level.

Pete, this may have been asked before, but if Duke was a part of this years RB class, where would rank him amongst the SoFL backs?

I would probably go

1) Cook
2) Duke
3) Sony
4) Yearby

With Cook and Duke very, very close

So you expect Cook to get a lot of PT as a FR? That would be a huge coup for us then, because of the lack of depth we have at RB. Also if Cook does come, what happens with Powell. He could be a guy that gets lost in the shuffle, or do you think he is talented enough to get some PT with Yearby, Cook and Duke on the roster?

Powell would probably get a shot to compete as a RB, and then be switched to CB which might be his big money position. He's a smart kid and is willing to make the switch if it helps him and the team.
Will Powell definitely end up in this class? Seems like he might be wavering a little bit recently.

Yes, he's solid. Staff wasn't very happy about the WVU visit, but things seem to have been patched up.

More so than Thomas?

It's very close and I see Thomas as a potential 1st rounder in 4 years, but what Jackson has shown in half a year of playing football is incredible.

So he is going to be drafted before the first round?

I'm saying they are both 1st round talents down the line, but Jackson could be drafted higher.

who else do you see with 1st round talent in this class? Valentine, Mcdermott...?

Valentine, McDermott, Tyre Brady, Kaaya

Will mike smith be big enough to be a monster pass rusher here

Should be. There are "undersized" pass rushers all over college football and his motor combined with speed can terrorize an offensive line. Plus, he has put on a lot of weight this season while maintaining his athletic ability.

Haven't heard of any local kids that will be committing soon, but Doyle Grimes says he would commit on the spot if offered. JaQuan Johnson and Tim Irvin are can't-miss along with Burgess-Becker and Ridley

If the Canes land Yearby, Powell, or Cook / Michel do you think there is a chance that Dallas Crawford plays Safety next year?

If Gray doesn't make it in, any chance he can be a sign and place and come next year? Or does he go to Marshall or WVU instead?

I love the hype about Brady but can you answer what make you think he's a 1st round talent and who you compare him to
