Recruit that Miami didn't offer that makes you scratch your head?

Supposedly Landon Collins said the same. Not sure I buy it when 5 stars say that after the fact the majority of the time.
Landon Collins took the bag from Bama. That's why his momma was ****ed, because he promised her that if he didn't sign with LSU he was headed to the U, just like his big little brother Gerald Willis ****ed mom off again by choosing UF over LSU and Miami. Bama and Floriduh wasn't even suppose to be an option.

how about amari cooper, .... not until about 5 minutes before signing day.

SMFH

Miami offered pretty early on. He was a 3 star when they offered but Bama was on him first. We didn’t wait til the last second. We just flat out got beat for him.

Probably Wilson.

Cooper is at one of our feeder schools that we still get who we want from.

Freeman was close because him being so good opened up Central somewhat for them on Cook.

But Wilson would have been a 3 year starter at cb, his younger bro would of came and likely been a 3 year starter, add to the number of kids thta eventually close with them at AH while we were lining up grad transfers for years at cb.

Yea if we would've offered skai moore and quincy our recruiting changes in a big way. Golden was so stupid

Gerald McCoy told Coker he would commit to UM on the spot if Coker could arrange for him to meet his idle Warren Sapp. Coker's response? " We don't have time for those type of distractions ". McCoy ended up meeting Sapp anyway after committing to Oklahoma and the two have been friends ever since. Ruben Foster was seriously interested in UM and simply asked if he could meet HIS idol Ray Lewis. Golden never made the arrangement, Foster committed to Bama and ended up meeting Ray anyway when Ray was a guest speaker at Bama.

In your opinion, whose ripple effect was worse, Wilson, Amari Cooper, or Davonte Freeman?

One of the better questions posed here.

Q Wilson...his brother, basically everyone from U School, Jordan Scarlett & then his ***** dad went to AH and continued to sabotage us there

Freeman was bad but i feel like that ripple is finally dying out. Got freeman, which influenced dalvin cook, who then took davante Phillips. Also no way James cook was coming here after all that either

Copper is probably the most high end ripple. Cooper, Ridley (which also got Shawn burgess Becker) & Jeudy. It made being a top WR from SFL going to Alabama the “thing to do”

I’m not saying all of these players were stars but there were def part of the ripple effect.

Please note all 3 of these happened under Shannon or Golden & that we are STILL paying the price for this.

No. They said that shannon wasn't even recruiting collins. Willis didn't have miami as one of his final schools.
