Quick Turnaround Week vs BCU

We play in 4 days and it is a great time for a borderline walk through game. It sounds like we are beat up on the d-line and I’m sure there is some emotional let down after a huge win. Here are things I’m watching for this week

1. Health, health, health and more health. Stay clean and off the injury report. These games are notorious for stupid injuries. Let’s not do that. Get our starters off their feet
2. Offensive efficiency: clean up the procedural **** and score TDs the first 4 drives. Keep momentum in the pass game and keep the ball going forward.
3. Keep tackling. This is the best tackling team I’ve seen since idk when. Keep putting guys in the ground and getting off the field
4. Specials: For the love of God, field the punts and block the rushers. No more special teams gaffes
5. Let the kids play: we should be in a position to play some backups by mid 3rd honestly. I want to see Pancake and McCoy on OL, Ray Ray and Washington at WR and get Emory a quarter to throw it a bit. Defensively I want to see Wayne, Washington, and Malik Bryant play. We need to develop front 7 depth

What say you?

59-10

if there was ever a week to have a sparring session type of game, this is it. Despite the score, last Saturday was a physical ballgame, and there was an emotional toll. Im more than happy this short week game this season is Bethune- Cookman

I know they want to redshirt both backup quarterbacks this year so I'm curious as to how they're going to handle it. Ideally, there's going to be a few more opportunities for the young guys to get some action. This week for sure. Likely next week at Temple and then we have games against ACC trash teams GT, Boston College and Virginia. I'd have to assume Brown and Williams both play against Bethune and that would give Williams two more games while still having a shirt.

Here is my prediction.

Barring a TVD injury, I think they have determined that there are at least 4 games that will require TVD to play the entire game. aTm was one of those games.

Then, for the remaining 8 games, you let Emory play in 4 and Jacurri play in 4. For instance, you could let Jacurri play against GaTech, he beat them last year.

That way you could redshirt both Emory and Jacurri, while giving them both some opportunities to grow.

Need to see the youth and transfers get in.

If we're thinking of putting Ricard at safety, let him get some burn now.

Let Damari get burn at CB. Same with Stafford.

Let Jaden Harris play nickel.

Let the young pup LBs go off. Let's see if Malik Bryant can be the QB of the defense at MLB.

I wanna see a healthy mix of Bain, Wayne, Campbell, Moten, even Cyruss.

Kinsler, Samson, McCoy need to get a lot of run here.

Tyler Harrell, RayRay, Shemar, more Horton, all need to be given chances to make plays.

Most of these guys haven't played a lot through 2 games. Need to get them as many live reps as possible before going into ACC play.
I’d like to see Bain get most of the game off. Freshman wall is a real thing and he played a lot so far

Its not like the U or our coaches to run up scores. I see us dominating the clock and a decent win 31 to 13. We are not out to embarrass BCU but to play a lot of backups and live with any mistakes they make.
We will have more than 31 at half, fraggs.

anybody know why we can't bet on the game? not on fanduel or draftkings.. not sure if there's a reason (I know some universities don't allow their games to be bet on, is bcu one of those?)

anywho

Miami 56
Bethune 10 (garbage time points because our backups will play whole second half, maybe even more

see it all the time. they arent gonna put up a 65 point spread on this game. it doesnt make sense for gamblers.

yeah but it's not always like that so was wondering if it had anything to do with bethune

oregon's spread was like 60 a few weeks ago for portland state, almost all major teams have had spreads on those platforms against FCS teams

honestly i wouldn't bet on it anyways, because we'll be playing 3 deep's, was just more curious than anything

Don't get too carried away. New OC and DC. Starters need reps and work on timing. Running game needs reps.

There will be plentay of time in second half for playing time.

If there's a spread, take BC. The running clock and our subs will make you money.

I don’t know. Miami. Beat them by 57 last year and last year’s team was *** juice.

OC was *** juice*
So was the DC. The offensive line. The linebackers, the running backs, the wide receivers. I mean Gattis was garbage but there was more than just him sucking it up last year.
