1st, Lemonade then sends out a tweet to respond to ?’s E before W

2nd, it leaked out that “certain” BOT members were upset at the direction of the program (the article u posted)

3rd, an article came by Jackson, iirc, came out early this year about a civil war happening at the Hecht where BOT members were not in union on the direction of the program (our hopes got up)

4th, and then....we discussed this right here:

I cannot say this enough. The Trustees and many employees are much, much bigger fans than any of you who have only rooted for the football team. These people do things for the University because they love it, and they don't cry and ***** and pitch a fit every time we lose.

That is how you support a team.

I don't have to "know" any of the BOT to know what they're about. You know a man by his actions, not by his words.

And I judge people on their RESULTS, not on their excuses.

If our admin "cared" so much about football, then why did they hire a first-time Athletic Director AND a first-time head coach? These actions speak louder than any words ever could, and the past 2 seasons are the direct result of those actions.

The results for this program over the last 20 years have been dog****. So either A.) you're wrong and the BOT genuinely don't give a ****, or B.) they do give a ****, but they're incompetent as ****.

Either way, they deserve all the fan hate and nothing you say is going to stop that.

Well stated. When I say the bowl games are “meaningless”, they have become meaningless to the team. Howard didnt think the PeachBowl was meaningless, did he. That invitation got this whole thing rolling. I will watch this bowl game, with the slim “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in” hope that 20 or so other guys decide, like D’ King, who has “It”, that this one matters.

You know why Michigan moved on from Hoke? B/c the fans & student body made huge noise that a lazy admin had no other choice but to move. For the Manny supporters; if u think he’s the man, then he can start by winning a bowl game. I’m glad we’re playing in this bowl; I like seeing my team w/ an opportunity. Miami still means something to me; and **** naw; I’m never going to let them off the hook on some bull chit excuse that the team gave up b/c they were exhausted. Every mutha fckin program is exhausted, including to the top 6 in the CFP! LOOK AT THE NYJ! They had zero to play for, EXCEPT their pride!

If Manny & his staph can’t get players to buy in to playing for each other & that logo on their helmet, which is iconic, then move him the fck on. But at no time, should we ever think about opting out of chit when we got too much work to do! STOP COMPARING US TO FCK BOY SCHOOLS & HOW THEY MOVE!

Finally; stop complaining about the same teams being dominant in CFB. It’s ALWAYS been a handful of teams dominant, and guess what? We were that team for 20+ yrs! We became that team by knocking off those teams! Bama wasn’t always this team; Bama sucked for almost 20 yrs!! But they did something about it. Clemson wasn’t always this team; they sucked for 30 yrs; but they did something about it. UGA did something about it. Texas A&M did something about it. Florida did something about it.

The question is, will we? If not, don’t blame CFB or whine about that chit, don’t blame bags; blame those cutting the checks at The Hecht.

Wow. The biggest fallacy here is that the fans are the heartbeat of the program. The program is the players and their bond and commitment to the U brotherhood. Fans are just noise. Sometimes great noise, most of the time negative noise. This inflated belief of self that dude's on a message board have is staggering. You cant build a program on the whims of a fan base. You have to find the right players that can ignore the fans and focus on winning for your brother.

Fans are always looking for the villian without any context. It's the president, the BOT, the AD, the HC, DC, OC, strength coach etc. I think people get satisfaction from talking down on whatever they can find to make themselves feel better. Fans are only in it for themselves and therefore have no issue ripping anything they can find. It is sad and hilarious to watch.
