Is there any chance that he's trying to secure his brother a spot? What is the policy and deadline for transfers? I mean, come august, his brother would be at UGA, and he is then free to commit to whoever he wants.

What he's saying about Cooks Fam is true. Serious question... Are you a Gator fan? If not than nothing to see here. I can't wait till 09/07 and my trip to the MIA and watch our offense show out!Everybody acting like Cook will just switch over to us once Sony commits to UGA are not thinking this through.
It has been known for a while now that Cook's parrents have been making money off their son's abilities since little league, and that he almost transfered to Carol City (Flo Rida's alma matter) this year b/c Flo Rida was gonna pay his parrents. Too many people found out and it never went down.
Then this kid commits to Clem$on who many suspect of paying FL recruits such as 5 star WR Sammy Watkins and 5 star LB Tony Stewart and a few more, not to mention that pic of that OLineman with the stack of cash in a Clem$on polo that was on his facebook for like 10 min before Clem$on made him take that **** down. I believe a South Carolina fan got it and posted it on the main board a few years back.
Then out of nowhere he commits to the Gators (an $EC $chool) a week after the story about Muschamp paying players at Auburn broke.
But the weirdest thing about that UF commitment was that in the article on rivals, Cook says that his parrents are gonna drive up to Gainsville every 2 weeks to "get to know the staff better".
Now I have heard that Cooks father does not have a job that would allow him to spend the type of money on gas that it would cost to get from Dade to Gainsville every 2 weeks from now till signing day, so WTF?
IMO the Gator coaches caught wind that Cook might be for sale and offered his parrents some serious cash while up there that weekend. And to ensure that they keep his commitment till signing day they told his father to come up to Gainsville every 2 weeks to receive it in chunk$ or as the Cook says "get to know the coaches better".
Then a few days later Cook has another interview where he says that he will still consider other schools, IMO to keep the heat on the Gators and make sure he gets as much as possible out of his recruitment.
So I doubt that Cook flips, mainly b/c the Gators are paying him little by little till signing day to keep him.
what if he just likes the Gators better than the Canes. No chance at that huh? It always has to be a conspiracy theory why a Miami kid picks another school.
Sony is a pretty professional dude. Not sure he he renegs on this committment. This is a massive, massive fail on our end. I know we've tried our hardest, but results matter.

If he picks UGA and sticks with UGA, then it's not a fail on our end; it's a fail of the system. There is no possible way we lost that dude, who supposedly grew up loving UM, has a HC who starred at UM, and is local, to some school that is not a major power and does not recruit this area without some shenanigans.
You dudes crack me up with this "results matter" rhetoric. If the playing field is even, then, yes, it's a "results matter" type of deal. When it's not, then it's not. Tie a couple cinder blocks to Michael Phelps's legs and see if he can win a 400m freestyle.

Sony was 6 or 7 years old last time canes were worth a ****. Y'all are living off our past tradition and history, he is not.
IMO Sony, cant be faulted for making a sound decision to go to a UGA team that was in SEC champ game last year, also has
a history of producing great backs, plays in front of 80 k every home game and in SEC.
Unfortunately in Realville, we havent produced a 1st rounder in don't know how long, gets 30 k
for home games in a BS stadium 45 minutes to an hour from Coral Gables. Not to mention the facilities which while
improved are still **** compared to uga and every other SeC school.
