Him and duke are buds arent they?

He also is a local, loves Miami, the staff hasn't stopped recruiting etc. etc. etc.

Sometimes there is more than meets the eye.

If Sony picks UGA today I don't think we land either one. However they sure as **** aren't the only 2 running backs in the country. Just have to make sure Yearby sticks.

Real talk

I don't normally care much for this recruiting nonsense but I'll be kind of ****ed if we lose Sony

I love the lunacy of recruiting.

Where a high school kid is better than the all american already on your roster.

Chill pills will needed to be prescribed to all

\unless we get Sony, then we gonna pop mollies

By tonight, Sony Michel and Dalvin Cook will be committed to SEC schools.

One of them will wind up at Miami.

Dmoney is right on this one, and at the end of the day, 2 out of 3 is great in and of itself, the 3 out of 3 was the biggest paja mental

I think most of our fans only care about the future. That is why they love recruiting and not the actual product (the season).

I think once we started to have less and less success (Coker -> RS -> Golden) the fan base (fair weathered) began to care less about the season and more about the future.

The fans are impatient and unrealistic sometimes, they THINK they know more and understand better (without any information) then the staff.

Here we are today where losing a HS Senior, WHO CAN'T PLAY FOR US TILL 2014, is the end all to life. Keep in mind Sony or Player X can't sign for another 9 months (unless EE).

We have a bird in the hand (YEARBY), we will not stop recruiting Sony or Cook. So keep calm and have a xanax.

I don't see anyone saying that. Duke is one of the best if not the best running back in college football. However Yearby, Sony, and Cook all have a CANCE to be on that level. Have to keep those kids away from other teams and stack them at UM. Like Ossis in another thread, without Amari balling out, BAMA doesnt even get to the title game. Put Amari on UMs squad and that's possibly an extra win or two. Leanord williams at DT, etc.... The list could go on. Point is UM has to keep elite talent home and keep them away from competition which is EVERYONE not UM. ITS nnit about now, it's about the future.

Problem with Cook is that whatever college he picks is WITHOUT A DOUBT going to have to break bread with his "family"(Grammy and 2 others). Was skeptical at first about those claims, but I guess that is true. Boys commitment isn't coming without an incentive. If someone wants to dispute that, they can. Don't think that will happen at UM, so......

I agree with this. the early Clemp$on commitment, then flip flopping around. I've seen that movie before.

we aint getting cook IMO. said it before but I actually like him better than Sony. dude is just so explosive

Everybody acting like Cook will just switch over to us once Sony commits to UGA are not thinking this through.

It has been known for a while now that Cook's parrents have been making money off their son's abilities since little league, and that he almost transfered to Carol City (Flo Rida's alma matter) this year b/c Flo Rida was gonna pay his parrents. Too many people found out and it never went down.

Then this kid commits to Clem$on who many suspect of paying FL recruits such as 5 star WR Sammy Watkins and 5 star LB Tony Stewart and a few more, not to mention that pic of that OLineman with the stack of cash in a Clem$on polo that was on his facebook for like 10 min before Clem$on made him take that **** down. I believe a South Carolina fan got it and posted it on the main board a few years back.

Then out of nowhere he commits to the Gators (an $EC $chool) a week after the story about Muschamp paying players at Auburn broke.

But the weirdest thing about that UF commitment was that in the article on rivals, Cook says that his parrents are gonna drive up to Gainsville every 2 weeks to "get to know the staff better".

Now I have heard that Cooks father does not have a job that would allow him to spend the type of money on gas that it would cost to get from Dade to Gainsville every 2 weeks from now till signing day, so WTF?

IMO the Gator coaches caught wind that Cook might be for sale and offered his parrents some serious cash while up there that weekend. And to ensure that they keep his commitment till signing day they told his father to come up to Gainsville every 2 weeks to receive it in chunk$ or as the Cook says "get to know the coaches better".

Then a few days later Cook has another interview where he says that he will still consider other schools, IMO to keep the heat on the Gators and make sure he gets as much as possible out of his recruitment.

So I doubt that Cook flips, mainly b/c the Gators are paying him little by little till signing day to keep him.

I say Cane. Maybe he didn't want everyone to know he was a cane, so he has fed everyone GA.

we needa keep talent here but its real hard to convince kids to stay home if they wanna leave.

Yep, he is the least likely to sway. Let Clemson and Florida fight over him and his family.

what if he just likes the Gators better than the Canes. No chance at that huh? It always has to be a conspiracy theory why a Miami kid picks another school.
