Laughing it off. My friend who's a FSU fan said "******* idiot its over"

Funny part is they think this is about the rape allegations and Winston's innocence when it's really about the botched investigation and police/admin corruption.
 
If it's true the NYT is getting ready to drop a bombshell then fsu should be very worried.

They won with a player that shouldn't have been allowed to play in the game possibly thats the difference...

Not like we're talking about a defensive lineman or offensive lineman, 2nd string this guy or that guy.... your talking about the guy that made FSU's motor run last year

Yeah, the cover up is the big deal. We all knew they swept it under the rug, but now it seems there may be real proof. If it is a Title IX violation, then that could affect federal funding for the whole university, and federal investigation etc etc.

If they don't take it seriously, they risk looking like they support sexual assault and the cover up. If they do, then somebody's gonna take one for the team up there. My guess is the university cops will get canned, and they will launch some new sexual assault awareness campaign. Not sure if there is enough evidence for Winston to get busted, but the admin will feel the heat for sure.

Unfortunately they won't and I don't believe they can being charges against Winston unless something new comes out like Casher or Darby's cell phone video pops up or they turn on Winston for some reason...

I think what they are looking at is bigger and could be Penn State-esque if they can prove that they tried to sweep this under the rug.

1. Winston will declare for the draft knowing full well he won't be allowed back in school due to the "findings of the investigation";

2. once he goes pro, the accuser will file civil charges and get paid plenty of $$$$;

3. FreeShoesU will be handed a slap on the wrist (ie. no penalties). Would love to the penalties and sanctions, but doubt they happen.

Agree with the 1st two scenarios but I really think if it's proven they covered this thing up or at least set up "road blocks" then things could get ugly for them. Im not holding my breath or anything....

We have our own issues we need to focus on here
 
Hey guys..my little brother goes to FAMU, and I talk to him today and he said people in Tallahassee are nervous right now, **** is about to hit the fan....with that being said the spotlight is goin to be on Fisher more cause he has a decision to make regarding Winston.....

One other little fact from the article that I didn't realize was that the girl had no idea who the assailant was at the time of the alleged assault. It is surprising that nobody followed up on her description of the location before they knew it was Winston, especially since she apparently reported the assault within a few hours of it happening.

So, maybe the argument will be that FSU and the Tally police dept. systematically suppress rape allegations? Not sure. I would certainly hope this is not the case with law enforcement, but maybe there is a real problem with athletes and assault up there.
 
Some Fans are still in denial and think that espn and everbody hates fsu and jameis. If the penalties are harsh jimbo will be looking to leave town.
 
That kid is such a disaster. Great talent, but cot **** hes dumb as ****. Hope he and FSU go down for this. SMH at covering up a rape for a national championship. ******* idiots.
