18 months is not enough time..now this same board were ****ting on shaq and wet dreaming about the supposedly addition by subtracting of that LB group last year..I told y’all the drop off from 55 and 56 would be felt.. that’s cfb..at CB same thing. We knew what we had ..still u go 8-2 and sign the class u sign..u go through a szn were u see young guys they evaluated making plays..but still you dumb *** fans who can’t see the forest from the trees. Some of y’all would rather have 2 minute meals rather then just letting **** play out. Majority of y’all didn’t like the hire and what to be right about that initial feeling..dumb *** mofos want a “proven coach”..not realizing the proven championship coaching ain’t leaving were they at..picking a coach is a crap shoot. All u can do is go off where the program is today. And right now that’s 2 recruiting cycles that kept some of the top local guys home. Including a blue chip QB, top 10 national local stars and a 8-2 reg szn..but yet..y’all *****ing as if he’s losing a game or in dog fights with the 2000 canes roster (Butch)..at the end of the day right now it’s all about roster building that’s how we get back to where we want to be. If we was signing FSU (another coach who half this board was ready to suck off at Memphis)/ Al Golden type classes I’d be worried

18 months? As a DC who evaluated and recruited for 2 years before he became a HC, he gets a pass? He Continually evaluated, recruited and developed defensive players for 4 years. Notice that I did not mention anything about offense.
Honest question..where do you think we should as a program rn...we haven’t done **** for 15 years..just went 8-2.. so again, where exactly do you thing we should be in year 2 of him as a HC? Do u think he should’ve came , after the dry spell we had since 2003, and fielded a defense with the talent and depth of OSU, Bama, Clemson?
I don't want to speculate because there are a lot of factors involved but that's not what we are talking about here. All what you and I are discussing is the bad defense we have after 4 years of his stewardship. As a result of deficient recruiting and development. You say he only had 18 months which is factually incorrect. I wasn't even blaming him for our total win-loss record or our over all standing. All I'm upset about is how bad our defense is NOW relative to where we sit as a program in the most fertile recruiting part of the country.
