Every meaningless cliche, ever, used in selling food and/or restaurants sales and marketing can be found in this.

All those bullshīt catchphrases that make people think they are getting something extra fresh and, tasty, etc:

"farm to table"

"hand-crafted"

"artisanal"

"locally sourced"

"curated"

... and the old standby: "organic"

etc

From this point forward, the concept of fine and elegant dining, and the name Paramus, will be forever linked.

Orlando is like a ****** strip mall. Those restaurants are who's who of salmonella and botchilism.

Bull Crap Orlando has a lot of very good eateries at every price point. Your full of **** an I am straight up calling you out on this. Many excellent Chef's have restaurants in Orlando. **** Emeril Lagasse has several restaurants in Orlando and lives here. He even has a show about Florida restaurants , and most the time he is covering restaurants in Metro Orlando.

Emeril's is OK at best. Having grown up in Orlando, I don't agree with Chise's exact wording, but a good 85% of the eats in Orlando aren't unique AT ALL and mostly chain restaurants you can find elsewhere in the country (case in point: every single restaurant you suggested is a chain btw). Are there good restaurants? Sure, but for folks traveling to Orlando, it makes no sense to travel out of the way to visit a restaurant that's ultimately not worth the drive. If you're visiting, just enjoy the game and eat to keep yourself alive.

This^ a million times. I lived in Orlando for four years. Everything there is either tourist-trap chains or redneck garbage. There's an occasional good spot but mostly the dining experience in Orlando consists of places like: Waffle House, Golden Corral, Ale House chains, TGI Fridays/Chili's/Outback Steakhouse stuff. It's still central Florida.

DTP That is bullcrap if you didn't explore the area than that was your loss. But there is a lot to do and see in the Local Orlando scene.

There are restaurants in Thorton Park, Waterford Lakes, Dr Phillips, Hunters Creek\the Loop, Winter Park, Kissimmee ( small latin restaurants).

Goodfellas has the best Italian comfort food in Orlando but it is out in Waterford Lakes by UCF. look up the reviews if you don't believe me

Rice & Beans Cocina Latina is also in Waterford Lakes if you want some very good Cuban\Latin comfort food. Again check the reviews. An the Mojitos are good to

**** there are even a few good Diner type spots also such as Nick's Diner ( be warned it is not in the best area, but worth the trip)

Had a buddy who worked at Emeril's while he lived in Orlando. He said Emeril would show up once every couple of months and be a general **** to a majority of the employees for an hour and then leave. If you think he has anything to do with his restaurant chain, besides his name on the front of the building, you're sadly mistaken.

I thought Paranos was an evaluator of lineman, now his true calling has come to light, a restaurant critic. This man's talents never cease to amaze.

All the good restaurants are in winter park, I drive is a touristy ****hole.

Luma
Ravenous Pig
Armandos
Prato
Bospherous
Siam Garden (looks like ****hole, best thai food)

No love for the Coop?

The Coop has some goooooood southern comfort food, that will raise your Cardiologist's blood pressure just from knowing your looking at the menu . It is the same owner as 4 Rivers Smokehouse, good guy I met him once when I ate at the 4R's in winter park (he even picked our dessert bill from the sweet shop! save room for dessert)

I only go to Orlando maybe 5 times a year. Always find a great place in Winter Park to eat. Prato is one of my favorites. Brio Tuscan Grille is also a favorite.

He's pretty much an overall fraud. Somehow duped people into believing his mushmouf Portuguese/Bahston accent was Cajun or something while being a deadbeat dad and not exactly living upto his Mr. Nawlins title when it came to Katrina fundraising. But he seems cool on da teevee!!!
