Places to EAT in ORLANDO during Bowl Week

Orlando is like a ****** strip mall. Those restaurants are who's who of salmonella and botchilism.

Bull Crap Orlando has a lot of very good eateries at every price point. Your full of **** an I am straight up calling you out on this. Many excellent Chef's have restaurants in Orlando. **** Emeril Lagasse has several restaurants in Orlando and lives here. He even has a show about Florida restaurants , and most the time he is covering restaurants in Metro Orlando.

You're from Haiti. A 3 week old bologna sandwich with mud on it is fine dining to you. No offense, Parrotnose. I say that with the utmost respect.

LOL at Emeril. The dude's a bust out. He went from prime time Food Network and living in a $10M Manhattan apartment to a cable access show in Orlando and living in an efficiency flop house down the street from Parrotnose. He's a beef stew.

living in Orlando is great. I don't keep up with Emeril's life, other than he is still opening restaurants so apparently he is doing well.

Just because your miserable you don't need company, so keep your bullcrap to yourself your acting like a child that needs attention.

Go Canes

Paranos is basically Siri but only specifically for Orlando chain restaurants and under the radar nose tackle recruits

Agave Azul.
The Boathouse.
Yellow Dog Eats.
Old Winter Garden downtown has independent restaurants and a brewery with a pub that's fairly new.

Orlando is more that. Disney and Universal and the god awful I drive.

If you don't think Orlando has some great options, you know **** about food. I've eaten at Alinea and the French Laundry; Norman's at the Ritz is legit. Morimoto's place is legit. Victoria and Albert's is really solid. Those 3 would be amongst the best restaurants anywhere other than the top few food cities in the country.

Doesn't it have a large number of places for the masses? Yes. Is Orlando the Bay Area, New York or Chicago? No, but for the size of the city, it has plenty of real options for people that enjoy top flight food.

PS: You can make fun of Emeril all you want, but the guy made food television, has the respect of nearly all top chefs and has a net worth north of $50M (and rising).

For Golden Canes and those on expense accounts, this is my favorite Orlando restaurant:

https://www.christinis.com/

Be warned though, its not for the faint of wallet.

In that area there are many more affordable options. Up the breezeway is Nagoya Sushi. Great and unique options for sushi lovers.

Late night meal after midnight?
Cafe 34 Instanbul

If you want local flavor and lunch menu with a ton of healthy sandwhich and BBQ options?
An old converted double level home converted into a classic restaurant. No franchise flavor here. This is raw organic central Florida history.

I hate to agree with Parrotnose, but The Capital Grille is outstanding.

Hard to find a better steak.

The only place I mentioned a groupon for was the Pharmacy on Restaurant Row ( west sand lake rd) in Orlando because they sell $40 pizzas.

They offer a groupon of $80 value for $45 which can be used Tues -Thurs.
