Peter Ariz's South Florida Top 50 (11-20)

Saw Collins this weekend rocking a Wisconsin Rose Bowl t-shirt for what it's worth. Buddha is an absolute stud. Told me he's 200 pounds now.

Geoff Vogt(sp?) on Scout thought he could be the number 1 RB in Florida when almost everyone has Bryant as the number 1.

I think he is worlds ahead of Bryant

When it's all said and done, I think you'll regret Alex Collins at #11.

Where do you believe Collins belongs?

I think he's a top 5 player in the state. I think he's a 5' 10.5" 200 pound back as a True Frosh. He's got everything I want in a RB, and is in the mold of Curtis Martin.

Totally agree. I think people are sleeping on Collins. If we lost this guy to FSU it will be devastating IMO. Just from watching his highlight tapes, Collins to me looks like a potential future star. His burst and change of direction skills are impressive.

Don't get it twisted, I think Collins is a STUD. The amount of talent down here is mind-boggling and the separation between these top 15-20 guys is slim.

Pete I will say this Johnson and Irvin will be top 50 nationally . Lane is a stud I think he is Miami when all said and done I have reached out to Tyree to confirm moving no answer but **** of a stud is well Brady more speed , Lane more hands but both great . Now Pete look at that video I think the highest of them all could be #55 on the highlight above Dominic Sheppard 6'3 220 freshman at Gulliver his dad is 6'7 280 kid runs like a gazel Earl Sims at gulliver raves about him I think Jadaveon Clowney type special kid. But hey wish them all the best those kids are special Irvin will go to Alabama in my opinion Cedric Irvin Tim head coach and cousin played for Saban and coached for him Irvin loves Ala Johnson is a bigger Lamarcus Joyner (yep I said he will be better IF HE KEEP PROGRESSING) UM has a shot he loves the U

solid rock, it's a pleasure to have you on here. Thank you for what you do for these kids. Youth football is the reason South Florida produces the best football players on the planet.

Yup. Splitting hairs especially when taking the ballsy step of using multiple classes.

I'll go on record and say Tim Irvin is definitely top 50 in South Florida. Small yes. But a freak.

First thing I thought after seeing Johnson on there as the top for 2015.

I havent seen either in person, but I am a big fan of the two freshmen phenoms that dominated Dade this year at Safety (Johnson and Irvin) and hold them in similar regard as future prospects - both honestly look like future five stars to me as long as they continue to develop.

I think Carter is a better athlete than Ricardo Louis fwiw Pete

i really like the comparison though because we all wanted ricardo louis as a safety. with similar builds and the freakish athleticism and playmaking ability for their sizes, louis and carter project similarly as safety prospects, the main difference is that carter actually has some experience there

i saw collins at a UM-UNC bball game last year, and he is way bigger than 185. I would say closer to 205
