Miami is going to have to slog through their schedule and beat whom they are supposed to beat and do so outside the spread to get any favors from these people.

Winning at South Bend will be mandatory. JMHO. The Committee will want to make up for ******** the Irish last year.

I would compare Alabama’s win over Fsu to our win over Purdue. And yet Alabama jumped up three spots. To each his own, I guess.

Biggest joke is LVille who has a top 20 win and lost on a last minute field goal to Ole Miss isn’t even in the top 15. Meanwhile LSU who lost by a TD is still a top 10 team.

Missouri who beat Troy by 10 points and has played no one is somehow top 20 team.

And somehow we’re to believe Bama, who got a well timed weather delay against fsu is in the top 10.

No issues with it. Ole Miss deserved to move up

Agreed. Not an egregiously anti Miami poll. The biggest issue is Texas at 1 and ND at 3. But even if you dropped them to the 4 and 5 spot, I think we’re the 6th best right now on the list. It’s close between UM and ND for the 5/6 spot. If we are both undefeated when we play and beat them (and win the ACC), we’re going to be #2 or 3 at the end of the season and get a first round bye as a top 4 seed. So far so good in terms of where we need to be in the rankings.

Didn’t bother to check, but did Texas stay at 1 after slogging it out with powerhouse UTSA while nepo nephew put up Denver Broncos Tim Tebow numbers?
