Jai Lucas and the Miami Hurricanes coaching staff will get their shot at the No. 2 overall player in the 2027 class, CJ Rosser, and the No. 7 player in the 2028 class, Evan Willis. Both prospects are expected to visit Coral Gables next weekend.
Rosser hails from Southeastern Prep in Orlando, Florida. He stands at 6-foot-10 and weighs 200-pounds, and he currently ranks as the No. 2 overall player and No. 1 power forward in his class.
Rosser has already taken official visits to North Carolina and NC State, and he has visits set to Arkansas (Sept. 28th), Kentucky (Oct. 1st), USC (Oct. 4th-6th), and Louisville (Oct. 22nd-23rd).
This past summer, Rosser played with Team United in the EYBL AAU Circuit, averaging a total of 16.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game.
Evan Willis is a 6-foot-7, and 180-pound small forward out of Utah Prep in Hurricane, Utah. He holds a total of 25 offers and ranks as the nation's No. 7 overall player, No. 3 small forward, and No. 1 player in Utah. He represented BTI in the Puma Circuit and averaged 18 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
They're both expected to be in attendance for the Miami Hurricanes football game against Central Michigan. So, just in case if you see them--give them a big welcome.
