Good for him.
I never heard of the school
I just arrived in Austin yesterday - I will make the ~hour drive over to thank them!FYI, if you're like myself and didn't know, Incarnate Word is in San Antonio, Texas.
10-3 and lost in second round of FCS playoffs.“Patke began his coaching career in 2011 at ‘University of The Incarnate Word’, working with current Miami safety coach Ephraim Banda. He spent two years at UIW and earned his master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on sports management.”
A good word?Banda must have put in a good word
Small, Catholic university in San Antonio.I never heard of the school
Honestly, this is the only reaction anyone should have. He wasn’t qualified to coach here but that’s not his fault. He seemed like he was giving it his all and so let’s appreciate that and wish him well.Happy for him. He’ll do well.
Patke was a GA there as well but i'm sure Banda was involved. GJ Kinne is their HC and holy crap am I old.Banda must have put in a good word
ThisLord have mercy.
Congratulations to coach John Patke on his new defensive coordinator role
I think this a great spot for him. If he goes there and does a good job, he will make a name for himself outside of Manny's shadow i.e. Banda. I hope he does well there.
