Over Under on how many games we win?

All depends on how improved the defense is. As well as the offensive line. Marginal improvement - 8 wins
Drastic improvement - 10 wins

I think 8-4 or 9-3 is very realistic. 10-2 being the best case scenario for the regular season.

Anything less than 8 wins would be a major disappointment.

Anything less than 10 wins.

If Mark Richt, coming in the door, is not a minimum of 2 games better than Golden and Staff, he should be fired ASAP.

Over Under on how many games we win this year not including the bowl game: Set at 9 wins.
I think many people are not understanding how hard it is for a team to learn a different system every year. This is Brad's 3rd offense and there will be some growing pains for sure.

How is this Brad's 3rd offense? He was a true freshman in 2014 and a soph in 2015 and Coley was his OC both years. This is his second offense.

Only his 2nd.

My guess (not including post season) is that the odds will look something like this

Clear Favorites (3-0):
Florida A&M
FAU
At App state

Marginal favorites (3-1):
Pitt
At Virginia
At NC State
Duke

Coin Flips (2-1):
at GaTech
UNC
at VaTech

Underdogs (0-2):
FSU
at ND

Highly likely losses:
FSU, UNC, ND

Toss Up:
NC State, GTech, VTech, Pitt

I predict 7 wins regular season, strong win finish in Bowl...8 total for campaign...no coastal...

Wow. So, UNC is a world beater now?. Stop smoking the PCP. Didn't we smash UNC in 14? Yes, they beat a broken UM Ship in 15, but we still have more Talent and a 3rd year QB in 2016

Did not Golden, yes Golden, give FSU all it could handle in 2014 and 2015? We easily could have won those games with a better HC. Enter Mark Richt, and we are still losing to FSU?

Why The F*ck did we fire Golden then?

Miami has an incomplete roster with holes at CB, OL and WR. You don't win more than 10 games with incomplete teams. I say 9-3 with losses against FSU, Notre Dame, NC State.

NC State?!! You crazy lol

Richt is known to drop a game he shouldn't. I think that will be the one. NC state has been recruiting better as of late and they usually play well at home.

Since when? The knock on Richt was that he won every game he is expected to and flop on the bigger games when it matters. I've never heard of UGA getting upset by a team who isn't their rival.

I think what he is saying is that Richt has a tendency to lose to lesser talented teams. Which is true.

Im not going to put a guess until Fall camp. too see how the depth chart looks. all i know is that we will be 4-0 rolling into FSU

Barring catastrophe, there's no way they should win less than 9 regular season games. They friggin ' won 8 last year with Fat Albert and an interim coach running the show. Being honest, the only game on the schedule I would say there's a less than 50/50 shot at is Notre Dame.

The national media is going to underrate Miami based off of last season so I can easily see Vegas posting an over/under of 8.5. Maybe even 8. If that's the case, I will gladly take the over.

My very reasonable projection is 9 regular season wins, a Coastal chip, and a shot for 10 wins in a higher tier bowl. Of course, there's a possibility of more but I'm being reasonable. Unless Kaaya gets seriously injured or half the team tears ACLs, I don't see how they can't win at least 9 games.

There are two teams we play against with superior talent and depth than us: FSU and Notre Dame. Richt is not known for dropping games against inferior teams (the statistics were on here when he was first hired and his win % was extremely high) and I don't think he will start now.

It is very reasonable to expect 10 wins. We hired Richt because he is a winner. We didn't hire him so that we could make excuses for another 5 years like we did with the last 2 coaches.

I think if we improve no where but 3rd down efficiency (top 25?) on offense, we're a 10 win team. We were so abysmal on both sides of the ball on 3rd down it was ridiculous.

I say 10-11 wins with a definite loss to ND but I think we have a chance to lose to GT or UNC. We definitely beat FSU this year, they don't even have a starting QB and nobody better say they have blue chip QB prospects because we don't even know what those guys could do and IF they were any good Everette Golson wouldn't have transferred there.

How is 8 wins in 2016 an improvement over 8 wins in 2015 with no coaches and a completely destroyed team morale?

Richt inherited a mess. De-Goldenizing this team will probably take 3-5 years. By then we will get decent recruiting classes and expect ten win seasons as a minimum. Right now I think the best we can do is not lose more than 3-4 games a season. Hopefully we will have a competitive team in all our games, but a few injuries in key areas would really hurt this paper-thin team. Blame the previous "staph's" abysmal recruiting at key positions like DT and CB. If any of the players we have at those positions gets hurt, we will suffer for it big time.

It's okay to win now.
