The narcissist are getting peeved I see.
Why did Africa need to fed? And I never spoke against degree pursuit or decisions to promote upward mobility. Those pursuits don't have to be cultivated or consorted with voluntarily losing ones culture and selectively ignoring history as a way to cope with it. They aren't mutually exclusive. I myself am aware and won't forget, but am able to pursue education and a better life. I don't believe we won anything. We have sovereign rights provided by our creator to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, we don't and shouldn't have ever needed to win them back from any human beings in the first place. Our goal should have never been to integrate and prove our worth to a group who we never disproved our worth to, to begin with. U should never try to win over someone or an ideology that never even considered U a player to begin with. That's insanity. I agree that it's done with now and that people have to do what they have to do, but the essence of what u are supporting and propagating is scrap culture and habitual picking up the pieces mentality. The mindset should have always been independence, reparations, and a trip back home. U think the slaves on those boats would've stayed here if freed after a few years? The restriction of resources and creation of poverty in certain areas is by design, so when do we take our experience into our own hands? It isn't about perfection, I agree that economics drives decision-making, well let's get our economic together and begin to change decision-making. These schools shouldn't eat off of any of these kids. Attend only schools who contractually give back to the community (collectively, not just individually with sports scholarships) the kids come from. Everyone else should be cut off.

All good points and worthy of holding. My point is that some want to fight the fight and some want to move on. Those rights you speak of go to both and those who want to go their way should not be deemed to have done something wrong. Rights are a funny thing. If everyone doesn't have them, nobody does.
By the way, life liberty and pursuit of happiness did not make it into the Constitution. The were words from slave owning Southerner in the Declaration of Independence. Powerful words that most assume are our rights but they did not make the final cut to Federalism.
Having a black president has no concrete meaning, other than symbolic/appearances. The dude never met with black groups and never even promised any specific agenda/platform for black American interests. This despite him being aware of the disproportionate statistics surrounding black Americans where poverty, jobs, education, murder, arrests, incarceration, etc are concerned. He met with woman, Hispanic, and *** groups though. Having a black president was a narc injury for white America, that's all. It was of no substance for the black poor, the kids know this. It was just another mirage.
WTF happened to this board? Move this thread to the WEZ
Great posting Duvalco! Scuba and Tad, what happened is that the thread began outside of your care/consciousness and then elevated way over your heads. Obama is more of a progressive conservative where his actual policies and not race are concerned. He is still the lesser of a way larger evil, in a few ways represented on this thread.
