Our players congratulating FSU on social media

Thoughts? I think it’s poor judgement but it’s typically 2 of our more liked and hard working guys? View attachment 161158View attachment 161159

They won. They walked the walk. You man up and give your friends of 10 years props and come back and put your foot in their *** next year. How you win and how you lose as a player matters. And these two guys are hard working kids with heart. Anyone complaining about this is really showing the board something.

Do you also go around hating people just because they went to FSU??
absolutely. Add UF and Ohio St

I would expect that kind of comment from someone who has NEVER played any competitive team sports at any level beyond kindergarten
I played beyond Kindergarten and always hated my opponent. Respected but hated
My lil half brother went to uf. I haven't spoke to that ********** since...

Been to several IRON BOWLS.

After each game I witnessed the players on both sides ALL shake hands and although many of the losers were crying they took the time and made the effort to congratulate their opponents after the game.

Its obvious that many of them on opposing sides have known each other for years and have much love...just like UM & FSU....ONLY during that game were they the bitterest of rivals. Afterwards normal life resumes, regardless of the outcome.

Never have been into social media and can only speak to what goes on the field.

Now can't speak for their delusional fans and others whose actions I find completely ridiculous. Especially since they didn't step foot onto the field.
That's as It should be. But on the field is a private, intimate setting regardless of people being in the stands. It's like any other sports forum. But when it's over it's over. It doesn't carry into some mainstream platform. For me that's disrespectful to your teammates & simply to fresh of a wound. For me it shows which kids bleed for this and put in real work. All I can say is don't let that have been on a squad with Ray, Al or even worse Nate... That wouldn't have been received well.

Beating a dead horse but if I were a coach that just lost to that ****** FSU team and then I saw my players commenting “clutch” and “Goated” on the opposing players picture just a day after, I would lose my job. I would call out those kids and probably tell them to enjoy the bench or find other scholarship plans. Embarrassing culture. And I don’t care if my best friend scored the touchdown on my team, I’m not going out like a cuck for social media clout. Ridiculous

No one is saying to not shake hands after the game. Thats called sportsmanship. Talk to your old friends on the field then go to work.

Going online to congratulate our rival is weak and shows why we suck. We are soft.

Dawg all these kids do this everywhere this is not a Miami problem. Y’all are just fossils
It’s strange to do it when you’re the team that lost. I’m 28 years old. It’s strange and a pretty cavalier attitude. We wonder why it’s been 18 years of misery. These kids were fine with losing to an arch rival within hours of the game. There’s a time and place for congratulations. This example is not the time and place
