Of course, this is largely interpretive, but there is nothing that literally states the earth is 6000 years old in the bible. You do have young earth creationists that may argue that, but not everyone, not even the great theologians of times past (before Darwin and discovery of geological strata) argued for a young earth.

Look man....I was raised in a ****** and Catholic home....and have 2 cousins who were Schooled to be Rabbi's (neither became Rabbi's) so I was pretty well schooled on Religion from a young age...(I still till this day can read from the Torah) The Bible has enough BS in it to make me pull my F-ing hair out....Take Noahs Ark for instance...Does anybody really believe Noah built an Ark big enough to House one of EVERY animal on earth??...Lol....The Bible was written by a bunch of Prophets..no more...no less...You can't imagine the arguments I've had throughout the yrs about the 6,000yr old Earth BS with the Southern Pentecostal/Baptist loons....

I am pretty well versed too. That's why I said you can't find nowhere where it says "the earth is 6000 years old". Not here to debate bible exegesis with you. That was just an erroneous statement that I needed to clarify, no disrespect to your extensive bible knowledge.

It’s difficult to teach Faith... easier to teach how to question and learn... easiest to not teach at all.

So, did you find an arrowhead somewhere near the Hillsborough River that was inscribed with a manufacturer’s date of 10,000 B.C.?

Found many projectile points in the Hillsborough River basin...but that's another story....Arrowheads can't be carbondated....but Mammoth Bones can...and when you find a Clovis point like this (laying next to Mastadon Bones at a Dig site I was at 20yrs ago...and said Bones had cut marks in it, that this particular Spearhead fit in the cut marks perfectly) and the Bones were Carbon dated to 12,000yrs old....welp...you get the idea....Oh...and btw...there were No Arrowheads/Bow & Arrow.. 10,000yrs ago in America...Arrowheads came about 3,000yrs ago....before that, they were Spearpoints and Dart points used with an Atal-Atal...(Throwing Spear)...My advice...study up my man...

Here's a Simpson Spearhead I found in 2000...completely found in context with Extinct Bison and other Mega Fauna bones where the bones were Carbon Dated from 9,000BP to 11,000BP (with a 500yr +/-)

Please don’t take my statement as applicable to the charlatans you’ve mentioned. What I meant is that teaching about Faith does not result in the development of Faith within the students. Faith is developed through experiential learning. It is lost by others through exactly the same mechanism. It’s value is apparent to those who have relied on it when they could not rely on themselves or on others. I question it when I compare how incredibly intricate a person is (Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Consciousness) to how insignificant a life is at the same time (Atrophysics, Thermodynamics, and other sciences). Personally, its by learning and questioning that I pursue my personal struggle with Faith, and I feel more fulfilled as a result of this struggle.

On the other hand “Blind Faith” is an entirely different entity. Unfortunately, there are those who exploit it... and those who allow themselves to be exploited.

One of every “core” species. Like...two horses that eventually become zebras, deer, elks, etc.. Or say a lion that spawns cheetah, puma, leopards, etc.. Not too far fetched at all. Species change based on climate, what it’s trying to eat and what’s trying to eat IT. Bible is accurate...
