Other Sports OT: The Masters

lol, true. I get it, I really do. There was just an interview I can’t get out of my head that his ex wife did where she talked about how Tiger’s kid was heartbroken when they got separated and the toll it took on their family. I have a lot of empathy for the kid in that situation.

I feel u bro; however just remember, she moved on fairly quickly. After she got paid, we didn’t hear about her “heartbreak” anymore.

Imma be honest, bro, just b/c I got boys in the sports industry, Imma say 75% of these women know what comes w the territory of dating a high profiled athlete. Truth be told, being that I insured his sister, even a certain Korean golfer had some infidelities on his girl friend. Lol. These dudes are mega rich; a lot of them used to have zero game w the ladies b4 they became famous, and now they are like a kid in a candy store.

Man, honestly, I don’t know why any of em get married. I think their hearts wanna do right, but these ***** (and I’m not being derogatory, but that’s who & what a woman is that’s purposely opening their legs for the bag) are mad aggressive.

I’ve never, EVER cheated on my wife, but even my relatively minor status almost got me caught up when I was at the club during my bachelor night and I sent 2 bottles of Ace to Rashard Lewis and Chris Wilcox’s table in Vegas and the chicks they were with thought I was somebody. (Little did they know, I was just stunting for no reason and instantly regretted it when I got the bill. Lol.)
Bro, when they smell $, they worst than sharks; and I was just like dang, how can a dude hella famous put up w a chick that’s super ****, hella aggressive, writing her # on her worn drawers day in and out, 10’s at a time, mind you, being away from their family?

I will never condone cheating, like ever...but it takes a special, extraordinary, humble man that’s in that spot to control his thirst of fame & power. I learned at a young age, none of these figures that r forced down our throats as American heroes r upstanding. If u think any of em are, from LBJ to MJ to Magic to Ali to Babe Ruth to Tiger....u’re setting urself up for disappointment.

Great post. I definitely hear where you’re coming from. Thanks for sharing that story, too.

this. D-wade got another girl preggers, lebron cheated all the time, kobe cheated on his wife, shaq cheated a million times, marino cheated on his wife and got another girl preggers, jason taylor cheated on his ex, and so on and so forth. they all cheat. its more amazing that tigers been able to do this with the amount of back surgeries he's had.

****, one of the chicks Shauni was upset about w Shaq was one my ex-girlfriends for crying out loud! Lol. And blood the worst part, I paid for her to fly down to Miami for it. She got ran through by T-Mac, Nick Van Exel and Shaq; no bull chit. Lol.

Tiger adds billions in value to the sport of golfing.

You heard me. Billions.

That's why the field took a dive today. Zing!

This was Rocco Mediate's event to win until Tim Finchem made the call to let Ol' Boy Eldrick win it and start the ca$$$$h flowing back into everyone's pockets!

Am I doin this right? My theories make more sense than Big Pharma putting the hit out on Nipsey!

Jokes aside, one can appreciate Tiger as the best ever.....and think he's a giant prick in real life irrespective of marital infidelities and that other nonsense.

You're 1000% right though. Golf had an even bigger win today than Tiger.

Never thought of Tiger when thinking who might win this Masters. Thought he might play okay, but this was a real surprise. “Never underestimate the heart of a champion”. One for the ages.

I flew to Vegas last night to watch final round at Westgate. One of the most fun, rowdiest sportsbook experiences of my life. Today's round was classic. After 9, when Tiger missed every fairway and was still in it, the contenders realized Tiger had his full repertoire from the trees. When those four players (pretty much in a row) all put there tee shots in the water on 11 (or 12?), I got goose bumps. MF Tiger was in their heads. When Tiger stuck his tee shot at 16, it was mayhem until well after Tiger pull his ball from the cup on 18. F*cking Amazing.

Tiger will always be my all time favorite. He dominated the game, and didn't need a well manicured fairway to do it. Respect.

Today was a special day in sports. Will remember watching today's Masters for the rest of my life. Great day.

The Nike commercial that aired right after the Masters was great, too. Really provided amazing context for the day. 3-year old Tiger "I am going to beat Jack Nicklaus" really capped the day so well.

At least for one weekend...Tiger is back and Golf is back.

Yea she’s doing quite well.Took her half Billion from Tiger and moved on to a multi-Billionaire Guy by the name of Chris Cline some WVa. Coal billionaire.Yea I know that ***** is sweet but she definitely knows how to use it to lure the big fish.

"Scumbag"??

For what bangin a bunch of b*tches? That constitutes as being a scumbag because at the height of his career when he was worth **** near a Billion dollars & was the biggest sports superstar on Earth had dozens of women throwing ***** at'em?

Lol gtfoh with that holier than thou horse****, just say you hate the man & keep it moving, don't insult our intelligence by trying to justify why you don't like him because he slept around, that's nonsense & you know it.

Tiger is the everyman.

If you ain't all in on this Masters win for Tiger, you are a weird human being. The man aint never done anything so scummy he is beyond redemption. Fvck a few Waffle House waitresses going into a Sunday to calm his nerves deserves scorn? Stahp. The man atoned and has reached the mountain top once again. Every man on planet earth should be rooting for his redemption...like y'all ain't fvck up in yer life a few times.

When did members of our fanbase become so **** righteous about infidelity? Not like he was going around abusing these women physically or sexually

I agree with the gist of what you're saying but Tiger ain't the "everyman". Far from it. As is 95+% of the PGA Tour. Nothing wrong with it but let's not assign lunch bucket qualities to the dude. He's as elitist as they come. It doesn't diminish his achievements either way.

Maybe...but he fvcks up just like all of us, brother. Succeeds, fails, all the same.

Doubtful especially if it was a best friend or family member.

That man has transcended the game and has grown it to unbelievable levels. He has made the game of golf very popular and helped bring people of all races and ethnicities into the game. Hes helped take the purses from winning a tournament into thr millions. Take a look at all the athletes and stars from other sports who congratulated him today after his win.
Yes I know he cheated on his wife but that's his own private business not ours. Back injuries will devastate and destroy any athletes career and what he was able to come back from his remarkable. For that I cheer and applaud him

Nailed it, I love the guy he’s always manned up and admitted his faults, he faced massive scorn and took it and kept pushing.
Tiger is good for America!

She truly loves her new man. The billions have nothing to do with it.

Can someone explain to me why everybody is in love with Tiger? I think he’s had an unbelievable career, and it’s a cool comeback story and all, but it’s hard for me to forget how much of a scumbag he’s been in the past.

We're the same age so I'll tell ya my thoughts. When I was growing up Golf was an afterthought (for my family) until Tiger came into the mix. He made the sport cool and just dominated everyone. It was Michael Jordan-esque or to put it in terms of the board - 2000-2002 Canes... must watch TV.

When his career turned, no one filled the void. Golf was missing the guy to make it worthwhile to watch. Tiger being back brings everyone back to being a kid when Golf was in its glory days. He's a scumbag in past actions, sure, but he is one of the more graceful athletes to ever get in issues like that. He owned up to everything in a very public and messy way.
