You must realize that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is NOT an enumeration of rights for the individual American citizen. Its a check on the powers of government. BIG difference.

Describe to me how # of sacks is relevant to the quality of the QB? Sounds like a trash OL. The 49ers were complete *** that year from top to bottom. It's a miracle he had a 16:4 touchdown to INT ratio (not to mention nearly 500 yards rushing). You know who Kaepernick's top target was in 2016? Torrey Smith. You know who his coach was? Chip Kelly in his first season who was subsequently run out of the league. Don't blame Kaepernick for that record. The QBR statistic has major flaws. Try again dummy.

Lol. Its a free country. Youre free to start your own football league or buy your own nfl team and make your own rules. And if you dont like the rules your free to protest at the risk of the owner exercising his freedom to replace you. I'm not sure why this concept is so hard to grasp for people.

It DOES NOT HAVE TO. Its understood. Again, its NOT an enumeration of rights.

If its MY workplace, YOU (the individual) have no say in how I run it.

Don't own a business do ya? Trust me, if his awful play was good enough to offset declining ticket sales, he'd have a job. Try again dummy.

yeah..that is his right....it’s said that he replaced him because of his right to silently protest. I wonder why NBA owners didn’t replace anyone....

You can't be helped.

Its specifically NOT addressed for protections in Title VII or several others. Furthermore its been SPECIFICALLY stated in appelate and SCOTUS level reviews.

Because they chose not to as it wasnt affecting their PR in ways it made the NFL uncomfortable.

Kap should play for a Team in SF, Seattle, or even better, The Peoples Workers Paradise of Portlandia.

So what does that have to do with the constitution and workplace? It’s just the owners preference on his job...

Bosses make the rules. You, as employee follow them or you open yourself up for consequences. Nothing different about how he described the NFL than every other ****** job on the planet

So you're telling me that in San Francisco, a city that many believe to be the most liberal city in America, fans would have stopped attending games because Kaepernick was on the field? Perhaps you are implying that ticket sales would decline in other cities. That argument is easily debunked as Kaepernick's jersey is consistently in the top 50 of sales. They can't keep his **** on the shelves. But people would stop attending games? Where did that forecast model come from? Not only that, good luck disentangling anti vs. pro Kaepernick fans in relation to ticket sales. Try again....

Before we can even talk about this, you MUST understand the Constitution does NOT grant you rights. Does NOT grant the NFL rights. They are already ours. Its defines the roll of government.

The NFL is a PRIVATE enterprise that can choose its own employees and choose its own code of conduct.
