OT: Hurricane warning

Terrible for the Bahamas. Great place to hang and wonderful people.

Had a dream last night that Dorian missed the Bahamas, kept tracking north off the coast of Florida and all of a sudden making a hard left directly towards Gainesville, crushing the area and continuing west straight into Tally!

Haha. Definitely get what you're saying. I'm in Lauderdale and I have my boy Johnny Morales saying don't worry about putting up shutters and he's being backed up by Bryan Norcross. Then you look at the map and it's like this thing really needs to start accentuating that north movement and not so much that west movement (even if it's moving slower than D'onofrio and Golden in a three legged fatboy race) soon because it's running out of real estate.

The most annoying aspect with these is always the thought of waking up the next morning and being greeted with panic on all the tv broadcasts because that 5am projection has showed a massive last minute shift. Well that and the **** hitting at night.

I was a kid for Betsy but remember it well. Passed North of us and heading toward Europe when we went to bed. Woke up to find out it made a loop and was racing back to us. I prefer hurricanes to earthquakes, tornadoes, or annual floods but they still be *******.

I love florida brahs but this is getting out of hand.. this thing was projected to be a 2 yesterday and now they're calling for a 4

It's called Global Warming. The waters off the coast of Florida are 5 degrees warmer than normal. That's rocket fuel for a hurricane.

Hahaha. Exactly. I was soooo expecting him to go the route of us just having aircraft carriers and other Navy boats circling below in the opposite rotation of the storm to slow it down too but he opted to use the Air Force.

That dude soooooo left Massachusetts in like 1986 fleeing child support payments and the fallout from some hairbrained business venture with nothing but a map to Florida, a Jimmy Buffett cassette and several Hawaiian shirts. Only one of his daughters will even talk to him today.

Good chance he lives in a 55+ community as well.

Haha, no need for the long winded explanation. Although appreciated. Just taking a jab at ya. I like to irritate peeps on occasion, take no offense and revel in the fact that you were right. 😂
