Rumor (OP speculates that) Dawson (might be) gone?? (but does not provide any info)

I Saw Manny Diaz and his crew and they did their usual thing inviting people up to their suite with a cooler of beer in the middle of the after party. Had a few beers with a friend who is now on Florida's staff and his buddy from when they were both at GT.... who is apparently UF's pass game coordinator... I was talking **** about them bringing in Philo to be their guy too. I was thinking he was just another off-field type guy.

First time I had never seen a Miami staffer there. This was also the first time we've been playing this late in the year LOL

If I wanted to evaluate NFL guys with QB backgrounds and who’d fit with our splits and DUO preferences, say like someone currently working for the Rams, what would be some names on that list?

i will say this, Miami beat Miami and we got thoroughly outcoached on both sides of the ball. and EVEN with that, we still had a chance to win the game. in fact, we should have won the game.

no, don't touch those guys. they are hopefully headed to my Pittsburgh Steelers to replace the insipid Arthur Smith
 
I have ZERO inside info, BUT.....after the SMU game when they were yelling at each other, I *assumed* Dawson was done.

I felt it was pretty apparent after the first drive or two that he needed to change it up a bit.
It was also apparent that the WR weren't open and he needed to be more creative with moving people around. How about a RB screen? Something we hardly ever did. It was just too predictable.

I think beck arm was not 100% healthy and down the field accuracy wasn’t consistently there, plus outside of Toney no real down the field juice at receiver or threat at tight end. I will take what we did on O this year honestly and still made the championship game despite being handcuffed.
