I think beck arm was not 100% healthy and down the field accuracy wasn’t consistently there, plus outside of Toney no real down the field juice at receiver or threat at tight end. I will take what we did on O this year honestly and still made the championship game despite being handcuffed.

In the game vs OSU, Beck had plenty of chances to hit guys 15, 20 yards down field running up the seams open in Cover 3 and he didn't trust himself to make the throw. You could see he looked at it but then he just checked down. I agree his arm wasn't 100% and i think all the pressure he put on himself because of what other people said about him played in his head. I'm not beating on him and I'm thankful that he knew that the best chance for this team to make it this far was for him to let the guys around him make the plays.

Had Mendoza been tackled and the defender been blocked on the punt. We would've won the game by two scores and the last play would've never been seen.
