Am I the only one who watches Norchad Omier on the basketball court and can’t believe this freak isnt playing Tight End in football!?

This guy is 6’7 250lbs (same as Jimmy Graham), his hands are made of gorilla glue, jumps out the gym, great speed/athleticism, aggressive as can be. Not only could you throw him a jump ball, but can you imagine him as an inline blocker!

Other than him potentially not knowing what American Football is, what am i missing?

Football is this kids future ($$) and Mario should be all over it.

Possibly,, but with the small ball movement the NBA has taken- he very well might have an NBA future- which money wise crushes NFL
If he's gonna do that he needs to put in an offseason of work with his dribbling and shooting cause he has a ways to go in these areas for the nba. Hopefully he gets there cause he's a great kid to watch.

Of course he needs to continue to get better. He is a soph, he will. Miami heat have been trotting out 6 foot 5 Caleb Martin as our PF. He is very skilled offensively, though. .But Heyward Highsmith has been a good young player for us, and he maybe 6 6- Highsmith plays PF, but lately has been only getting minutes as back up center. And offensieve skill wise- Omier is not that much different right now.

Yea its been mentioned on bball board thru season.. He could be at TE, DE, or Tackle even honestly.. He has elite size in football context and he plays with the aggressiveness that is needed on court

Path to the NFL is probably easier and more realistic than the NBA.
