this. PJ literally had one of the best corner 3 percentages w the heat last year. at 40 years old, hes washed? oh no **** lol.

I don’t have to tell you, but PJ was guarding wings in the playoffs when he was with the Heat. When he was with the Bucks, he was guarding Durant. He is a modern position-less defender. Lol at the idea of Omier working on his 3 point shot and boom, he’s just like PJ Tucker 🙄
 
The "let's make every big forward without a clear cut NBA career ahead of him a TE" thing get's old, but there is precedent, and Omier is certainly the most interesting one to come down the pike in a while. He's a super physical dude with traits and a body type that one would think could transfer well. Homie has a football mentality already.

My question would be about his speed and does it translate to the football field. I've really no idea how he moves on grass and in pads. Anyone have any raw numbers to start with?

@AlexCane What's your opinion on his chances in the NBA? I personally think he's good enough to stick, don't see why he'd want to try football at this stage. But I am not a big NBA fan, so am perplexed why people are so convinced his future is at TE.
 
One thing almost all of you are ignoring is that Omier is “listed” at 6’7, and you are comparing that to NBA players who have draft heights (I.e. exact measured height).

Omier is likely 6’5 and some change.
