Then you have:
"The allegations included unethical conduct by former associate head coach John Blake. The NCAA said Blake worked to steer players to late NFL agent Gary Wichard and reported Blake had received more than $31,000 from Wichard, though Blake's attorneys had previously described the transactions as loans from one friend to another during financial troubles. Davis had said he knew nothing of the loans and that he was "sorry" he trusted Blake, a longtime friend who resigned in September.
There were also numerous issues connected to tutor Jennifer Wiley, who had tutored Davis' teen son, and improper assistance given to players on school work -- including some after she had graduated and no longer worked for the school."
I mean dam! Poor Butch, so much going on all around him and he knew nothing of it.
Tell us more excuses...
Oh. My mistake. I didn't realize Butch was hired as the academic advisor for the entire athletic department.
I thought he was hired as the football coach.
Nor did I realize that Butch designed and designated the University curriculum at UNC for years prior to actually coming to UNC.
I thought he was hired as the football coach.
Nor did I realize that a vengeance-minded UNC investigation failed to make one, single, connection to Butch Davis.
Nor did I realize that the NCAA - likewise bent on digging out the facts - failed to make one, single, connection to Butch Davis, and stated Butch had nothing to do with any of the wrongdoings - which were in place long before Butch ever got there.
Nor did I realize that the North Carolina Attorney General - likewise using many investigatory assets - with everyone under oath - failed to make one, single connection to Butch, nor find any evidence that Butch Davis knew or was aware, or ignored all the wrongdoings - again - long before Butch Davis ever arrived at UNC.
But YOU - you're smarter than all those folks!
YOU know things they don't!
Why don't you share all this earth shattering factual data with UNC, the NCAA, and the North Carolina Attorney General - and tell them where they went wrong.
They'd do the same as me.
Laugh at your unknowing, ignorant ***.
