We have two of the top backs in Sfla. Not to mention the nation. Committed. Although running back is important, the team goes as far as the QB takes them. Where would FSU be without Winston. On the other hand, Boston College had a heisman hopeful at RB. Where are they. Just my opinion. I know cook is a game breaker. I'd love to have all the top talent. Just doesn't work that way.

Excellent post. What set our program behind in the last 10 years is the lack of a great QB.
You just can't get a very talented kid if his heart is not into your program no matter what you do. And you can try hard to get all the talent around you all the time, but you will never be able to. Mighty Saban could not get Winston and I didn't see many here calling his recruiting last year a failure. But we have guys here saying if we don't get Cook then AG failed as a recruiter. Many fans just can't see the big picture.
