OFFICIAL SPRING GAME THREAD!!!

I like what I have seen on both lines of scrimmage. Gauthier should be pushing for the 6th or 7th spot in rotation behind St. Louis IMO

Can't stand the soft coverage in the secondary - it's no different than D'Onofrio in those regards. Trying desperately to not give up the big play, but allow teams to march the ball down your throat while the QB hits wide open WRs (like Malcolm fvckin Lewis).

The only thing aggressive about this defense is how the front 4 plays. But they will be nullified by quick throws.

I absolutely love a weapon at FB. Just another problem for the defense to worry about. I always hated it when we didn't use the FB as a weapon, and that's been a **** of a lot the last 12 years.
Chris Herndon looks like a f_cking weapon... Oh my god... Him coming out of the backfield at fullback and with njoku as the tight end with coley, berrios, Bruce Richards, Mullins at receiver man oh man

Agreed. The last FB that i can remember making plays for us was Quad Hill.

CB's have been much more aggressive than we've seen in the past. Sometimes they lose. Can't win every rep.

Here's hoping our O is as good as I think it can be.

Well Chad was given credit for pressuring Kaaya on Elder's pick. We just never saw it because of the awful coverage of the game.

Coach is not happy with the lack of depth at WR. "We had a running clock in the 3rd because we lost some skill guys there."

No position is ever going to be perfect, unless you're Bama, but everything seems ok. CB position really scares me though and I'd like a bit more depth at LB.

Can't wait to see what our defensive backfield will look like in two years.

Listen we shouldn't take too much of the analysis of the d or the O here. At the end of the day it's football and if you look around many parts of the country not many teams are doing full on scrimmages of 1string O against 1string defense.... They usually have 1stringers go against the backups. Miami didn't do that we went full on 1st team O vs 1st team d the entire game. Good on good so plays were going to be made on either side whether you like it or not. Liked what I saw today though

there will 4 games next year that will be won or lost in the end and that will determine whether we go 7-5 or 10-2. Theres not the talent here to dominate quality Power 5 comp

I agree there is a depth problem especially int he secondary.

But this offense can score with anyone.

We are just as talented as any team in the co untry on the offensive end.

To beat the top teams we are going ot have to outscore them.

But make no mistake, this team is extremely talented on the offensive end. We just lack depth.

Sam Bruce is going ot be a huge adddition because he will be a day 1 player.

I can't believe it either. At least we fired that dope Golden who managed to create the problem. How incompetent can you be to have a secondary problem at Miami? What a fool he was.
