OFFICIAL SPRING GAME THREAD!!!

The oline did okay for the most part. The backup center gauthier looks better than gall ever has at the position...

Our receiving game will be really good if they stay healthy, its a big IF.

Coley, Berrios, Cager
Njoku, Dobard, Herndon
Walton & Yearby

If that group can stay on the field we will be fine.

I'm expecting ESPN to cut away from this drive at any minute to update us on how Tyler Byrd is coming along at WR

People love to keep stating the obvious....," we lack speed, receivers," help is on the way... All on the day where we are missing our most explosive player in coley, a talented group of Richards, Bruce, Mullins, Harris and we are not using the full playbook

Just doesn't look like we have many game breakers right now. A lot of short throws.

Keep in mind that this is a Spring Game. They are probably showing 25% of what we're actually going to do when the season starts.
Richt has said multiple times that they will be vanilla with play calling today

Also that's a big part of his scheme the shallow cross. But yes he has said it would be very vanilla on both side of the ball

Right has said multiple times that we need more speed. Not sure why everyone is harping on it as if it's a new development. We will be much faster come fall.

That's just it. It's not like we are playing 2016 with little talent. WR is one position that true freshmen have always come in and contributed right away. We have some talent at WR, and more REALLY GOOD young talent coming. If it were September and we had these numbers at WR, that would be a huge issue. Right now we have Coley and Berrios who are very, very good, and a crop of freshmen coming in that will be possibly even better. WR is not an issue come September.

By the way, the WR depth and talent was WAY WORSE when Coker was here. His in-season talent looked worse than this spring talent. I know revisionist history is fun, but it's simply not true. We'll be darn good in 2016 at WR, and that is all that matters.
the worst receiver depth in hurricane history, even
worse than when Monroe played

Thank goodness we are getting 4 WR coming in who can all contribute

This offense will be a different proposition when the 3 FR arrive, especially AR 15. We are stacked at TE and the OL continues to improve. I expect us to go 35+ pts per game.

I absolutely love a weapon at FB. Just another problem for the defense to worry about. I always hated it when we didn't use the FB as a weapon, and that's been a **** of a lot the last 12 years.
Chris Herndon looks like a f_cking weapon... Oh my god... Him coming out of the backfield at fullback and with njoku as the tight end with coley, berrios, Bruce Richards, Mullins at receiver man oh man
