GT is where he went I believeWhat about Geoff Collins? Idk how you get players to take you serious when people hear your school and think triple option.

No thank you on Fleck, dude is a Manny clone. Fake car salesmanChris Petersen, Bill O' Brien, Matt Campbell, P.J. Fleck, and Doug Pederson. But honestly, the more appropriate question is, who is your Athletic Director wish list?
Agree, your entreaty falls in deaf ears..Go to a pro guy who's a top coordinator waiting to be a HC.
We all know Miami is the best way to jumpstart your career if you win big here
U stop that right now! Don’t u play with my emotions like datHere’s a name I saw thrown out there - Eric Bienamy. Extreme long shot but he’s highly regarded and past due for a HC job.
We'd be on probation in about 5 minutes with him here. Personally, not a fan of his anyway.Assuming the commitment level is were it needs to be and we were unable to lure Mario.
I am making a play on James Franklin…
I don’t want to see any G5, mid major type of coach with potential coming through the doors anymore.
Give me a coach that has recruited and coached at a power 5 program and has done so with success.
What’s their nutsChadwell would be a risky hire from cultural standpoint. I'm not saying he would fail, but make no mistake, he has a taste for the Moglia Way, and it is unlike anything seen at Miami.
Without top cover from AD, the changes he would bring is going to break a ton of glass.
Also, I believe he was kinda sorta involved in a scandal-ish at his previous stop. College of Charleston or Charleston Southern or whats-their-nuts.
Go ahead and look away. He’s not capable of putting together an offense that would satisfy us. He’s the right type of guy, mentality wise, but not as a head coach. He’s all about run defense, and good at it, but not great against the pass.
I know WVU as a program has a ceiling, but I think he does as well.
Lemme just also say I don’t think there are many legitimate names out there like people hope forGo ahead and look away. He’s not capable of putting together an offense that would satisfy us. People are saying Demeco Ryans and Eric Bienemy ffsSome of you guys live in fantasy land... why would James Franklin leave PSU for Miami? Why would Lane leave SEC country for Miami? The only reason Mario would leave is because he would want to come home to his alma mater.
Jesus Christ! Ur really tired of this **** show huhA disciplinarIan. Somebody, that if you commit a dumb penalty, he rips your head off on tv and skull f*cks you. Greg Schiano or Bill O’Brien. I am tired of nice guy coaches.
JJ & Erickson had no pro experience when arriving here.Used to be.
However, both JJ and Erickson took over a program that had won a NC the year before (JJ, from Schnelly), and Erickson (4-year 44-4, '87 NC JJ team). Only Butch rebuilt the program, after a few seasons of Erickson's poor recruiting and crippling NCAA sanctions. This is not a dig at JJ or DE, just the truth of their timing.
Miami needs a program rebuilder, IMO
This is solely for the possibility that Mario either turns it down, takes the USC gig, or the price is just too high.
1) Bill Clark
3 C-USA West titles, 2 conference championships, and he’s never had a losing record in CFB. In fact, he’s 43-23 at UAB who a year before he got there was 2-10. He’s even 11-4 on the FCS level. Basically Bill wins. That’s all he does. Hire him and surround him with recruiters and this very team is probably a 11 game winner.
2) Billy Napier
He’s a spark plug and maybe the jolt we need even though he’s a bit unproven which in my opinion isn’t a worry because of where he comes from before being an HC. Recruiting obviously is not a worry here. He used to be Saban’s preferred hit man for those who don’t remember.
3) Hugh Freeze
We all know who this is and we all know he’ll get the job done but questions with him is 1) would he be able to take us back to national power status or would be just short of that and 2) would the BOT make the call.
4) Jamey Chadwell
Resume isn’t as strong as Bill’s but other than his 1 year stint at Delta State he’s won everywhere he’s gone but he’s too new to FBS for me.
5) Lane Kiffin
He would take the job in a heart beat but I don’t think he’ll value defense enough that it’ll be dominate. I don’t care much foot ball has changed. Defense will always matter more than Offense
A name would be unpopular: Ken Dorsey
In Ken’s defense, it’s basically a fore gone conclusion that whenever Brian DaBoll take an HC job that he would become the Bills OC. UF loves to call Mullen a QB whisperer but if that’s the case then Ken is a QB Sensai with the work he did with Cam and Josh. They would ha e to surround him recruiters for sure but I wouldn’t be surprised if we heard his name.
