I was going to sit this one out, but I have to chime in.

Everyone on this board knows how much disdain I have for that pedophile school in PA, but the one thing I hate more than that is a quitter. When ND turned down that bowl game because they felt cheated, that my friends is a quitter. ND can call this their revenge tour all they want but IMO, quitters don't have the right to say anything and so Marcus Freeman, their AD, and fans need to sit down & shut up.

That changed all the respect I had for Freeman, I thought great recruiter seems like a good dude and then that happened. He had the opportunity at that moment to be a dog and chose to be a *****. I instantly thought if that was Mario what would he do? Play the **** game and get his seniors more film out there for the league. Quitters attract quitters, it is safe to say they wont win a natty with him and he will bolt to the NFL

Seeing as how its a season deciding game for both teams i cant see either team taking their foot off the gas. I expect some late petty scores for sure.
 
In recent years past - I've seen UM take their foot off the gas and have to resort to some unholy risks and last minute heroisms.

I HATE that kind of crap!

Don't just put them on the ground - but face down, your boot on the back of their necks - smother them!

That PREVENT defense - never seems to prevent diddly squat. The best defense is a powerful, aggressive offense.

I have my own doo-doo list - and Notre Dame has been at the top for decades. Ohio State is second.

I absolutely get your point you were making, and I hate both psu and nd, but I absolutely hate a pedophile far more than a quitter, just throwing that out there.

I understand brother! Probably a poor choice of words on my part by my disdain for that school lies more in they did nothing about it. Gave the victims a little pocket change and that was all. NCAA did little or nothing as well. Still ND are nothing more than pompous quitters and all this revenge tour babble is just what it is.....babble.

Just like every year, there are a few jackasses from other fan bases who come here to try talking ****. They don't usually last. When one comes on and wants to talk football, they usually do pretty well and take the mild abuse in stride. This guy was one of those last year.

Agreed. And as I previously posted, my hate for ND lessened after I attended the Chicago "neutral site" game. My son and I were treated like visiting royalty. Yes it was easy because they spanked us. But, the dislike for ND is real because the university acts like they are entitled to everything they want. Thus, the opt-out was no surprise. Nor, was the side deal that in effect makes them "in" the playoffs until they lose 3 games [against army, navy, and rice :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg:]. But, they do play us and SMU, so they will be fairly tested in two games. Good teams take care of business and it seems that Mario has figured that out.

I’ll take it. I just would prefer to sit in the stands at PedoPriest Stadium and talk schidt to all their sad fans for the entirety of the 4thQ as Judd hits Milan Parris for a TD to go up by 45. I’m just a dicc like that. 🤷🏼‍♂️

What ****es me off is that I been meeting these newer ND fans who have a appreciation for our team and rivalry, and are some of the most wholesome, nicest people I've ever met.
Really ****es me off.
 
They're just entitled and Freeman encourages it, not playing the bowl game was a bad look. Holier than thou mindset.

Every time you turned on any game, ND involved or not, they were trashing ND. They kept trying to compare them to Miami, when rational ND fans knew they should both be in. After ND got the news the first thought was there is no way I am going to let the same company that trashed me for a month make millions off my brand in a bowl game. Many ND fans felt the same way and the only way to fight back was in their pocketbook.

But I get what you are saying. There were some advantages missed by playing in a bowl. But when you were screwed by the one entity trying to profit off you right after they screwed you and you have two hours to decide....I at least understand it.

Naw. ND just thinks they're all that. To be arrogance requires credibility. Justification. ND has neither. So, rather than arrogant - let's just call it for what it is - delusion. Better than average - but certainly not special.

Every single year - overrated. Every year - for decades!

That attitude - "we don't need you" that ND carries around - is a crock of ****. Trust me - if tomorrow a huge meteor took out ND - which then became part of the world's weather system - no one in the entire world would miss a beat.

I don't care if ND never plays in playoffs or bowl games - they're never worth the effort to even watch. About as boring a team as ever comes along.

Anyone that thinks different - can go **** in their hat.
