The excuse is going to be Miami “buying” a bunch of mercenaries…like it’s against competitive rules or something. Can’t wait to kick their asses for all 4 quarters.

It’s maddening. Guys who know ball watch him do very little to carry that offense all season and when he did make plays most of them were because the defense was selling out on the run.

These dudes also know they lost those two RBs that went 1st round, which is ridiculous given the low value attached to the position. How did they replace them? Some stocky grinder sort of player in Williams. Love and Price were game breakers. Williams doesn’t appear to be that kind of player.

At no point in the season last year did Carr fling it around to carry them to any sort of victory he just took shots when they were there. His receiving corps is worse, his RB room is much worse, and he’s never had to carry the offense. Why would anyone expect him to become some sort of dynamic phenom. He’ll be lucky if he doesn't completely **** the bed before he ever faces Miami.

Their schedule is utter dog **** so they may just overpower everyone they play until they see us but I have a feeling Carr is going to look very average against any defense with a pulse and that ND will have at least 1 L by 11/7. I got them finishing 9-3 on the year.
 
I really think we are so far in their head that they come out and make mistakes early and we capitalize. I know we’ll be undefeated and they probably will be too, the media is going to be crazy. Wouldn’t surprise me if we come out and build a lead and just have to hold on. Obviously months away but I could see it being a 31-27 type of game but the score wouldn’t indicate how much we were in control.

They basically bank their whole season on that one game.. They in trouble
