Carr had the massive benefit of having 2 first round draft picks to hand the ball to. All eyes on defense were on those 2. This guy had very middle of the road numbers. Only had 5 games where he attempted 30 or more passes (never had more than 32 attempts in a game), and in those games, he threw at least 1 interception in all but one of them.

Next year, he’s the guy who has to lead the offense, so in a game against Miami or in the playoff against a real team, not the dog **** teams they play on their schedule, their moronic, delusional fanbase is going to face a harsh reality, which is, CJ Carr is gonna turn the ball over multiple times if they’re down in a big game and he has to throw it 45-50 times because he’s a game manager, therefore he isn’t going to win you a championship, nor will he ever. The media can suck him off all they want, they’ll never speak it into existence.

I fear that this game is gonna be 11 (Miami) vs. 19 (Notre Dump and the refs). We are gonna catch some serious home cooking. Remember last year the refs started calling BS penalties to extend drives and willed them back into the game, and that was at home.
 
I am all for playing this piece of **** entitled fan base and university every year forever. My most hated rival. Can't wait til Nov 7th.

That said, and usually I know these things and there is a public explanation, how the **** did this wind up being the sequence:
last year at miami- cool
this hear at Notre Dame- cool makes sense
2028 - at notre dame
2029, 2030- skip two years- thought acc was going to make sure they played more in the scheduling agreement- there should never be a 3 year gap
2031- at notre dame
three consecutive games on the road
2032 Miami home game
2034 Miami Home Game

should be annual. at least every other year. both need to big matchup for playoffs and metrics.

Notre Dame and Miami really need each other right now, and the CFB timing could not be more perfect

College football needs great rivalries to be its best version. Notre Dame vs. Miami needs to be a rivalry reborn.
