Was poorly written.. and I'll give you that(touche).. I was trying to be more colloquial since all of the Miami fans are convicts.

Really interesting I jumped in enemy territory after reading the cruise line poster thread who swears he is married with kids so figured I'd jump in on the discourse on this weeks highly anticipated football game. So far I've just gotten personal insults, 3 word LOL and BRO and a ambiguous meme.

Do you guys have any intelligent football conversations or this is a forum consisting of illiterate trolls?

Catholics vs convicts is not a reference to the student body as everyone knows UM is a private institution and an expensive one. Rather it is a reference about our players -especially back then when college football was not used to having players on prime time with gold teeth and all the other stuff that the U brought when we dominated football. Sadly the reference here is that our players were convicts bc of how they looked and acted on the field with all that swag and brashness. I will take this a step further and add that the reason Miami as a city loves the canes (perhaps even as much as its own student body) is because a good portion of the city is Cuban a population that was exiled and had to work for what they have today (much like the canes). There is huge love for this team and although admittedly it does not show up as it should on the stands make no mistake the team is Miami's team much more than any pro or college team in Miami.
As for the game itself I think that we need to stop the run and we win. NO WAY ND beats us without running the ball.

This mutha****a choreographed dances to NSYNC tunes with his Domer dorm buddies at no less than a half dozen weddings and/or alumni events. Take that to the bank

Thanks for the history lesson Bear. I'm well aware of the meaning behind convicts in this context.. I was exchanging one generality for another and thought convict would be an appropriate yet facetious generality.

Let's call him a *** and challenge him to a fight" You guys are so tough challenging Notre Dame fans to a fight at your stadium on a forum. It makes you look pretty stupid. No matter how much I'd love to choke you by your stupid *** gold chain, I calling out fights with someone you don't know is the dumbest **** you can do unless you can back it up, but I highly doubt it.. People who can write those checks don't run their mouth like you imbeciles. A parking lot fight could get you retards blacklisted from the stadium.

You clearly do enough for your own amusement, otherwise you wouldn't have spent the time finding the "hilarious" memes to respond with. Everyone approves of you dog, you're cool. They know you'd be there in the blue lot to Donny brook any ND fan that deserved it.

Looking at advanced metrics ND is and should be favorites. TOs can be difference maker but all things being equal ND wins this gm Confortably they are the superior team. 38-20

I wouldn't take any of the comments on any boards much less here, personal. Which i assume you don't. So take it as it is. Fans are fanatics for a reason. I visited other ND forum sites, and the "thug", "convicts", whatever are used ad nauseam. I was born and raised a catholic and can't stand Notre Dame for its righteousness and Catholicism in itself. So other fans calling Miami players thug and convicts is just like calling all Catholic priest pedophiles. It's not necessarily true at all. You get my drift?
 
What is the status of the field? It looked a bit torn up for VT. Is it true that it has to be replaced a few times a year?
