This not all accurate. #1 wasn’t a slot and we whiffed with both.

CJ was the replacement but a downgrade in my opinion.

Question: does Liberty CJ Daniels get us to Horton? I know he was being talked up big time on here before he committed to LSU.

Cam willed us to #1 with his talent; he was the offense.

However, Miami Football at its finest has always been about a high-quality game-manager distributing the ball to talented playmakers with precision & great execution; not the off-script/schedule back-yard hero-ball that was so successful last season with Cam.

You don't need Cam's talent to have a good offense, and you don't need to be ranked #1 to make the CFP. We'll have a better defense, and I expect we'll run the ball better to make things easier for Beck.

Yeah sure getting sacked once the entire season and throwing to future NFL Hall of Famers and having RB4 be a Hall of Famer is helpful but they didn’t have Elijah Lofton

I’m just seeing way too many messages saying the run game will be elite.

Does CIS know we were 72nd in run blocking per PFF last season with that elite OL? We finished under a 65 average in every game except Ball Stank and FAMU…

So we’re losing our best back, one that was amazing after contact…and we’re somehow going to jump from 72nd to top 10 in rushing?

Call me a cynic, but numbers don’t lie. And I’m pretty confident we’re not jumping into the top 20 in terms of rushing offense.

Odd that the team that was #7 in the country in yards per carry and #1 in third down conversion % is ranked in the 70s in run blocking.
