So if I'm reading this right.... there's less than a 40% chance of tropical winds anywhere.... so that means there is no storm in the gulf.

That's a different model, look at the letter in the black circle. It goes from S (storm) to H (Hurricane) right as it hits Tally

I'm a CANES fan and have been longer than you've been born! Why wouldn't I be on the best sight for CANES info. Duke, the tropical wave you speak of is just a loosely tied area of bad weather that, as we speak, is passing through south florida. Over the next 24 hours it will likely bring rip currents, heavy rains in some area, and a few gusts of wind. Nothing to worry about, it won't affect anyone's work/practice schedule.

While that graph isn't wrong, it tends to be overly-bullish with their estimations in order to rush people to complete their preparations.

I much prefer this NHC graphic, which highlights the MOST LIKELY arrival of winds if, of course, the NHC forecast holds exactly as is. I will say that from what I'm seeing, I would predict an even later arrival time than that.

Based on this model, from what people are saying the most accurate one in the past, this will not even have any kind of weather impact on Tallahassee until sometime midday Sunday or actually later, possibly the evening.

Is there any reason to cancel this game, or even move it to Friday, based on the available information now?

Might be a good idea to move it to Friday because some projections say it could come sooner. And FSU will want to give players time to get out of there if necessary and help their families prepare.

Dan, thanks for all of the great info. What is the best site for us amateurs to go for info? Also, if this graphic is correct, the game would be played under a TS warning and a H1 watch? That doesnt seem likely?
