Let just play the game and get the *** whooping out of the way. Fook all this drama, ****, I just want to kick their *** and get it over so we can move on to the next team.
Dan, thanks for all of the great info. What is the best site for us amateurs to go for info? Also, if this graphic is correct, the game would be played under a TS warning and a H1 watch? That doesnt seem likely?

Tropicaltidbits.com is the one I always recommend if you want to learn more, but the NHC site has everything you need. And yes, hurricane warnings are issued around 36 hours before those conditions are expected.
I've never heard of a precedent for a game being played under a hurricane warning, so it'll be interesting to see what changes, if any, the schools/ACC announce tomorrow.
This is, of course, assuming the NHC forecast holds exactly as is, which is unlikely, so for now we need to continue to monitor. Like I've said, we should have a clearer picture tomorrow afternoon.
52 years old, you are an old fart. I'm 38 years old. This is a young mans boardhemsley gets the senior citizen of the year award for that post. and i thought i was one of the senior members of the board.
Must be really old and past his bedtime!.....because I'm a kid at 52!!!

and I'm probably way above the average age of the posters here. As for you, you are ancient. Pittiful that a 52 year old man chooses to be on a board communicating with most people that are one half his age. It is obvious to me that you have a very boring and unrewarding life. Old timer, don't forget to take your hot milk and cookie before you go to sleep tonight.
im 53, so f@ck off marinconzn. there is a guy on here that has been watching UM football since the 1950s, so f@ck of again.
Cone of death shifted a little west in 11PM update. Hopefully it keeps moving tomorrow and we're good to go.
Ok, sure.
Nothing’s really changed that much. The difference between two forecasts, a few hours apart, for a storm 3 days out, aren’t going to really change anything.

Thanks again. I realize there will be intense pressure from the TV and fans to play the game, but at the same time, the safety and liability issues are also important. Would not want to be Blake right now.

Let me make it simple. If Tally is under hurricane warning, there will be no football game. If it isn't, there probably will be a football game.

Again, why do you believe the location of the game can't be moved, or the game moved up?
Your insistence that it's either at 330 in Tally or canceled is just dumb. There is definitely a discussion of contingency options

They could move the game up, but if there is a hurricane warning issued for Tally on Friday (a distinct possibility if not probability), they still aren't going to play. I don't understand the idea of moving the location of a major, nationally broadcasted CFB game on 2 days notice. Do you understand the logistics of that? Do they play with no crowd and no tv? Is there a stadium that could be ready to go on 2 days notice? Seems pretty unrealistic.

The super dome could do it and logistically it’s not too far west. There are already cameras there for the nfl game. They might not be ESPNs but I’m sure they could lease them for the day.
Game could be played at noon and people could still be back home in Tallahassee to make preparations before the storm hit.

Looks like the timing also slowed down. New advisory has it at almost the same latitude at 8pm Saturday as previous advisory had it at 2pm Saturday. That's good.
