MEGA New Miami Adidas Ultraboost🔥 - The Shoe and Nike/Adidas Thread.

Big if true but per his family, the decision was made a week ago. And per On3, he’s the first $1,000,000 RB.

Everything else is from an Ohio State writer who claims Tennessee offered him $5,000,000 over 3 years and Adidas sweetened the pot with $1,000,000. Not saying it’s not legit, but why is this coming from Ohio State? Is Adidas’ $1,000,000 a part of the Amabassador program or independent? When is Ohio State’s current Nike deal up?

You take that everyday of week and I would think the nike zealots on here who fight to death for brand agree also
Yeah agreed, that’s a difference maker. I don’t like adidas personally because they don’t fit me well. I like Nike better as a brand. However, Nike won’t help pay for a player Ohio State wants. If adidas will help pay for players we want, well that’s the winner for me.

Nike’s deal w/ OSU is not up for a while, & that host didn’t tell the whole story.

Nike cannot legally just give a kid $$ when that kid isn’t a NIL kid. Nike is not a booster for O$U or any program despite the famed “Nike U” of Oregon.

Adidas, also can’t legally give a kid $$ unless that kid is a NIL athlete. Adidas can contribute to a school’s NIL funding, but that’s on a per annual basis in which that school can use discretion on how to use said funding.

Nike has steered a lot of kids O$U’s way via their Opening in yrs past, & they r literally the highest paid program in the nation based upon their contract + royalties.

So not sure y the host would want to put this story out when this kid already was locked in w his decision.

How's the Nike fanclub coping today?

If you are feeling a little uneasy with the lowered status of Nike athletic apparel, you can rest assured your propagandist will help 'ether' all non Nike good news for you. He will help you, stay calm.

Are you arguing Adidas is better than Nike for UM football because they’re more popular on the world soccer circuit???
Did I say that or are you making a scarecrow argument?

I did edit this one too. I was unaware of the edit taboo thing here on CIS. I would perpetually fail at this one. Sorry.

Did I say that or are you making a scarecrow argument on my behalf?
What scarecrow? These are your words;

“Despite Nike spending way more on marketing, Adidas showing once again it's the more preferred brand right now. Adidas selling more World Cup gear.”

You’re arguing on a Miami hurricanes CFB board about adidas over Nike saying adidas is the preferred brand “selling more World Cup gear.” Nobody cares about soccer when it comes to CFB and quite frankly, we just saw Nike refuse to help Ohio state with nil to land a player. If adidas is willing to help us buy players in a similar situation where Nike won’t then literally just about everyone here would go with adidas.

I don't detect anything at all about an apparel deal in that comment. Defeating a made up argument I didn't make; might make you feel better inside. Yet doesn't mean it's something I actually said.
